Here's some.info.Typically rust like that is attributed to a calcium deficiency. That doesn't mean you're not providing it, but for some reason the plant isn't uptaking it. Could be due to temp issue, PH issue, without additional information about your grow it's hard to tell why exactly this is occuring.
Damn bro, that's a big grow. Maybe @Renfro can chime in with some helpful information, I think I'm in over my head haha. Everything you are using sounds optimal. Here's some.info.
8 x 600w hps all air cooled
4 ton mini split
Supplemented cow
Sealed room.
8 wall mount fans.
Temps 72-78
Humidity 35-50
Co2- 1100-1200
RO water (as I'm on a well that has far to much calcium and causes lockout)
Running bioterra plus
Complete biocanna line with added humid acid
Natures nectar phosphorus during mid flower aswell as some seaweed.
General organics calmag at 10ml/gallon
Soil ph fluctuates between 5.5 and 6.3
All of my other plants, cuttings,(in a separate room) and even about 10 of the gsc in the same.room as photod plant dont have this.
Thanks again!
Thanks everyone, I believe you are suggesting the optimal ph for soil.Get that pH up to 6.5 - 6.8 and your problem will be solved.
I had the same problem at 6.3. First I went down in pH and it got worse. When I went against my gut and tried 6.5 all the sudden things started growing right. Now I stay between 6.5 and 6.8. I use soiless mix and GH nutes. Never ran coco personally. Thanks everyone, I believe you are suggesting the optimal ph for soil.
Bioterra is a soiless coco based product which requires 5.5 to 6.5 ph for optimal uptake. Really appreciate the suggestion though. Any other ideas ?
My main concern was it was a type of rust fungus or septoria.Something else to note, the newer growth looks good, perhaps you just had a temporary problem that you already resolved?
I would suspect the damage wouldnt be limited to just a part of the plant if fungus were the culprit. My main concern was it was a type of rust fungus or septoria.
Really appreciate your time renfro.
