Best brand CMH?

Which brand is the best to buy right now.
I was looking at sun system, nanolux, growers choice, phantom.
I heard phantom was no good.

Looking at 5 used growers choice cmh 630w DE for $1100 or 10 used 315w cmh sun system for $1500
I have a 12x16 area that it will be going in.

Id pass on the growers choice. Hear people have problems with them going out.

I just ordered a couple 1000w DE CMH lights by Nanolux to test in place of my 1000w DE HPS. Haven't got them in yet. I like the low profile mounting.

Good thing i asked. Still got like a month to do my research, i will keep nanolux in mind! Any other brands you've tried?

I have some Sunplix fixtures, I like them and their customer service is awesome.

I still trust growers choice though, at least the 630 De lights. I know ninja hasn't had an issue with his 20+ 315s either from them. They were decently quick at replacing their one ballast shipment that did have issues as far as I remember. But better safe than sorry I suppose on that.

Hi. I am Spanish and here we have been using CHM for a short time. In Spain many brands are failing. In my store we had to change 4 times as a supplier.

Customers just want to buy very cheap products. In the end everything is manufactured in China with processes and raw materials of low quality.

After trying some brands, we have found a magnetic and other electronic equipment that work and have a very affordable price.

The important thing here is, above all, that it works because more expensive equipment is sold, such as Lumatek that also fail.

I put the link, although I do not know if you can find this brand where you live. It is a lighting equipment with integrated electronic ballast and reflector of 315w with LEC 315w 3100k bulb. The brand is Vanguard Hydroponics

I would probably give sunplix a go. I have the cheapest fixture you can get, a real no name and ran a phillips bulb and it worked pretty amazing. The sunplix reflector looks a lot nicer than my cheapo and it cost more than a sunplix (time reduces prices :o)

Any brand is as good as the ballast warranty. The Phillips 3100k bulb is the one to get, Hortilux bulbs is another good bulb choice.

I'll look into that more, so far i just skimmed through the cycloptics and so far so good! Thanks for the recommendation brother!
