Some buds are done week 7

Not quite there yet... If those are the mature ones I'd say leave the bottom 3 more weeks. Patience is key

Will take your advice and just leave I kinda thought it was too early the buds must be getting heavy cause the beaches are bending where they are I can't Waite my first time everything cept smoking

I came home today and the top buds and middle branch were all bent forward th buds are getting to heavy i didn't know what to do so I tied a string to them and taped to the roof to hold them up but what else can I do when al.my branches where the bud is are all bending

this is called a good problem. Tie it by string is ok. They have bamboo stakes you put in your pot and tie branches to the stakes. The stakes will support those heavy branches. Your plant doesn't look finished to me but does look close.

Going by your pics,you have at least 10 days to full ripeness(for the tops).You noticing the branches leaning is the plant putting on its last swell,this is where the yield comes from and what most people lose out on because they chop too early.

You've waited this long and did well with plant health for your it being your first plant brought to harvest.
Nicely done,now reward yourself by waiting at least a week.10 days would be better IMO,to cover that transition period from flip.

I'll add,Done is subjective,ripe isn't.You may find if you harvest now it's perfect for you and your needs.But You'll never know the strains full potential if it isn't fully ripe.
Take a nug if you want,dry it properly and test it.
I have some bubba kush that could be chopped right now.I took pics of it yeaterday and posted them on the forum.All the branches were erect supporting their colas.
After I responded previously,I went to check on some clones in the room and peeked in the flower tent.Guess what....half the branches on the plant were falling over from "the swell".I'm tying them up now.

Pics or it didn't happen- (from a few mins ago)This BK pheno isn't a huge yeilder but the smoke is divine.Looks like I can take her now eh? Nah,she has some weight to gain. Didn't think to snap the pics until after I tied up 4 other branches and remembered this thread.They were all flopped over like these last 3.

They are advertised as 8 week finishers.Tomorrow is week 8.She is going 9 weeks,actually 67 days to account for her transition to flower.

In my experience, its very common for strains to take a little longer than advertised. Looking good!
