Well there’s no sense in just dipping your toe in right so might as well jump right in.
Eventually word will get around so I figured I’d post it myself in case anyone feels like helping the cause.

Anyone on here that knows me knows I wouldn’t do this without good intention and reason. But when times get tough we all gotta do what we gotta do.

I'm curious about the dead tips on the leaves. It doesn't seem like excess nutrients, is it really dry in there?
No sir not dry at all
It’s a combo of not having money to mix enough good fresh supplies into that soil mix and me not being very good at spotting problems early enough to adjust
With a little bit of luck tho I’ll get better sooner then later:eyesmoke:

Biochar helped me. It buffers nutrients for the plants and helps them adjust to imbalances in feed.

It's as easy as having a fire and not burning the coals completely to ash.

Ya the last few rounds I’ve been using a modified organic coots mix so I’m still adjusting to it.
I used bio char on my outdoor stuff a few years ago.
Tbh I’m not that worried I don’t care how pretty it is for the most part it’s all for me and I cut all that ish off.

I'm only concerned because it's a sign the plants aren't growing optimally. I think your short light cycles are a great innovation and I want to see what happens when the plants can take full advantage of it.

Thanks man I appreciate the feedback and concern. I too would love to finally get shit figured out and have sexy plants.
Fingers crossed that I’ll get there eventually.
Every day is another chance to learn grow and become better.

That's why I passed on the suggestion. It helped me when I was chasing nutrient issues. Worked like magic. It buffers pH issues, too.

I have benifitted from your threads to much not to post this comment. Going vertical is what has allowed me to keep up with my personal production needs. My primary space is a 3x3x6 tent, I have a 2x3x2.5 clone/quarantine/nursery cabinet and a 2x3x5.5 veg or flower/preflower area. The tent stays in flower and the other 2 can be configured depending on need. I have different age plants in the same tent and being vertical on a rack it is easier for me to have the variety I like. It takes planning and knowing the different strains growth habits but this is no issue for you, trust me if I can get to where I am considering taking a break from growing this summer or at least from flowering, you can too.

Small ones like this I chopped today fill the gaps in my stash and also provide for running through strains and "pheno hunting"

Your posts have inspired me, I can only hope this repays a portion of that.

Cheers

You are far to kind sir!
Knowing that anyone even reads my journals is a surprise on its own and there’s absolutely nothing to feel compelled to respond about.
We are all learning as we go and it’s nice to know we are doing it together.
I’m not usually the hippy community type but I’m glad to have made the few connection I have by sharing my experiences.
I’ve thought about going vertical for some time however my spaces aren’t very tall and most of my growing roadblocks are self inflicted or financial.
But it does look like you have your spaces rocking pretty good man congrats and thanks for chiming in I appreciate it

You should try vertical. If I can do it, goodness knows anyone can!

Well the bbhp came down and is curing in jars now. The sample nugs were a very pleasant surprise.
I had a grudge against the blue dream because all of the bd I’ve tried from clubs and others has been borderline but this bbhp has some real bite to it.
I’m not the type to never admit I was wrong so I’m happy to report on it.
I’ll put up a brief smoke report when I’m deeper into the jars and have a better sense of the terps and effect.

The red eye Jedi run is underway and sadly it’s going to be a bukkake party.
Got 4 males 1 female so she will be hit hard. I threw in my 2nd and 3rd fave ds reveggers and a Sakura clone so should be some ds x rej and sak x rej down the line too.

The 88g13 are ready to lay roots in the paper towel0F2F29F3-BFE1-4C4F-BC85-892874065B20.jpeg

hey bro ik i am about the refer to a year old grow, but how did those sakura f2's come out? did you ever do more or just the two in the thread? i was wondering if there were any heavy appalachia leaners as these wouldbe the only seeds i will have with appy in the genetics and that plant has always interested me. mostly because i grew up near the appalachian trail, and because i think bodhi doesn't have the male anymore. anything i should look for or avoid when i run em? gonna be a cpl months til i do, but you are like the only person i saw ran em so i figured i'd ask now before i can't find this thread again.
side note. fave bodhi cross you have smoked/grown? including crosses you or other growers did with his gear or even something you found in an f2.

Thanks for stopping by sir
Firstly I’m pretty sure that Sakura is actually bubba x wookie and not an appy cross.
I did grow out at least a half dozen maybe more it was a surprise strain in that I didn’t really know what to expect and the cherry/ grape smell n taste was a blessing.
All the wookie crosses seem to be super quick finishers and most of the Sakura were done in the 50-55days range.
My favourite b strain is dank Sinatra because I like the heavy indica shut down potency and the taste is still good.
More cowbell and bbhp are probably not to far behind but I’ve liked nearly everything I’ve ran from that 88g papa.
Coincidentally I didn’t much like the appy crosses that I did try and found them viney weak limbed and looser then I like buds.
But that’s why baskin Robbins has 31 flavours too
