2nd grow t5 ?

i want to set up a second grow tent since ima have available space but idk anything bout t5 my first grow was led but there price im planning to grow about 4-5 plants

I did exactly as you did, only i did it before asking for advice. Or before actually learning what was good and what wasn't.

I bought a very good T5 ho 6 bulb x 54w light for vegging 2-4 plants. they are comparable in price to some 315 cmh and are probably more expensive than starter 400-600w mh/hps lamp. I am already regretting this decision and also looking to upgrade from the T5

Not saying T5 dont have a place in a growers arsenal, im just saying that MH,QB,Cobs ect are all better and way more versatile options that wont need/ want upgrading. If i had just done a little more research , i might have been steered in the better more versatile direction.

I would buy a 315 cmh or a qb/cob diy kit for similar price as a decent t5

I wish i had my time back

Who is gonna pay the electricity bill? Not you I guess? You are not trying to spend alot but at the same time you are thinking on buying CMH? How does that work? Just after the second month of running that light you gonna be in same deficit as if you went with qb's or any light that uses the same latest diodes. After that second month you will be paying over that with every bill. So basically you are saving money for first 2 months and after that you are paying more every month. Even the shortest autoflower grow takes atleast 2 and a half month. Unless someone else is paying the bill for you that doesn't make much sense to me.

u are right it really hard bc there lots of choices im still trying to see what will wokr for mesince those are factors

Every grow light will work HPS, CMH, Led Strip, CoB. It just depends on your situation. First inital price of a light should mean nothing to grower, thats my opinion. Light is not bag of chips, you will use it for long long time. So you need to make your plans thinking ahead, not thinking how much you can save at the start. Every penny will get its worth during that time if you make the right choice. There is things that you can cheap out and there is things that you should not.

If you are trying to save money you should go with latest technology diodes. Take a paper and pen and make some electricity cost calculations. See what happens.
