Some cree cobs .quantum boards a 600 cmh light would be great depends on some stuff can u control heat ? If not I'd go with led but all three choices are good. I aim to be at least 40w a square foot 50 is ideal. So u have 16 sq ft so16x40 is 640w and 16x50 is 800w id go with the 630 cmh and get proper ventilation and U would do great in a 4x4 imo.

With either you don't need to go much above 30w per square foot. In fact you can get great results from 400w in a 4x4

I have a 400 watt cmh in my 5x5 that is doing very well

I have one but use it for veg, once for flower, a 315 doesn't light up a 4x4 really but 630 would really light it up well.
They are great lights. Amazing spectrum. Seen some lovely stuff grown with them.

What stage are you at with your 400? Have you seen a crop through with it yet?

Yup. Wasn’t sure at first because the colour and node spacing was off But the buds are good and sticky more so than my 1000s. Maybe a little more leaf. The plant colour was a bright green all through

Ge I was gifted a 400 watt magnetic hps ballast all I had to buy was the bulb. A little over a hundred I think
