WTF can't germinate a seed to save my life

I've tried every method known to mankind to germinate a couple of seeds ( 2 different kinds of bag seed) and I can get a single damn one to pop. So frustrating. Never had this problem before. I have brand new equipment I'm wanting to try, and now this. Fuck. Paper towels, jiffy 7's, straight water, straight water with peroxide, and dirt. Nothing. Now I'm out of seeds.

I wound suggest doing this:

Soak in a cup of water for 24 hours. If you can push the seed and it sinks after 24 hours, put it between two paper towels that are soaked. Ensure the towels stay soaked and in 2-3 days you should have a taproot. Can take up to 2 weeks before you should write off the seed. Here’s my girl already.

How long have they been germinating. You mention there bag seed, maybe they aren’t mature ?
Precisely could be so many reasons with bag seed.

However before haring off and messing with Gibberellins, like an idiot on this thread suggested, try scarification (rub your seed a few times with an emery board). Best of all just buy some inexpensive seeds from a reputable bank and start with known, mature genetics

You know, I've seen your replies on stuff and I've definitely decided you can go fuck yourself. I, and many others don't like you.
There’s a few unpleasant individuals lurking this site, not much difference to many other sites. It’s sad really because sites such as this are laden with lots of valuable info and a great place to hang out with like minded folks.

They looked mature. Maybe old which is why I tried the peroxide. Suppose to soften the shell. I'm paranoid about ordering seeds, but that may be what I have to do. I didn't try scarring them. If I come up with some more I will try that. Thanks.

This is a very difficult process. It promotes lengthening of cells. When I did get a seedling to show itself above ground...it then stalled and spent all it's energy making curly Ques with the taproot till it died. Seriously I've been messing with this for 3 months and never got a viable plant.

Your seeds are old...go buy some fresh seeds.

Telling a newbie grower to use Giberellins while you are busy drowning your seedlings is simply mean. That I called you an idiot is the god's honest truth what I think of your advice.

Here you are without ONE indoor grow under your belt and you suggest Giberellins! I still gave you advice to help those seedlings in the coco you're overwatering them in. I hope you listen. As @JohnDee stated Giberellins are a very advanced technique and unless you are in an academic greenhouse setting you probably won't make much headway.

BTW how many times have you used GA3 on seeds?

All seeds have varying degrees of hull thickness. This is so they all won't germinate at the first rain thereby decreasing the lines survivability. A light scuffing to thin the shell so water permeates easier and you get past hull thickness is a well used technique. GA3 is not.

Precisely and then I wonder about the tendency to herm once you dial in GA3 dose. I'd imagine you see a statistically significant increase in that since Cannabis is born with that tendency.

Nothing to be paranoid about ... start with a small order .
Plenty of U.S. seedbanks . Lurk the “ strain and seedbank reviews “ forum.
Pick the right one and get freebies.
Thanks, I'm going to try it. ILGM looks like a good site. May try them.
