Trump throws a feast!!!

Had to Google spaetzle. Next time leave a recipe or I will report

Spaetzle
Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons minced fresh chives

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. In another mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the egg-milk mixture. Gradually draw in the flour from the sides and combine well; the dough should be smooth and thick yet still stream from the whisk or mixing spoon when lifting it out of the dough. Let the dough rest for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Bring 3 quarts of salted water to a boil in a large pot, then reduce to a simmer. To form the spaetzle, hold a large holed colander or slotted spoon over the simmering water and push the dough through the holes with a spatula or spoon. Do this in batches so you don't overcrowd the pot. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until the spaetzle floats to the surface, stirring gently to prevent sticking. Dump the spaetzle into a colander and give it a quick rinse with cool water.
  3. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and add the spaetzle; tossing to coat. Cook the spaetzle for 1 to 2 minutes to give the noodles some color, and then sprinkle with the chopped chives and season with salt and pepper before serving.
For extra flavor, heat the butter to brown it which adds a deeper, nutty flavor to the dish.

Finishing with butter sauce is a classic way to use spaetzle but spaetzle is so similar to pasta that it can be used with many of the same sauces. Toss with a good quality shredded cheese, some parsely, and perhaps garlic-flavored olive oil. Or toss with white sauce or tomato sauce and sprinkle with shredded parmesan and chopped parsely. Also, spoonfuls dropped into chicken soup makes the soup into chicken and dumplings. When used as a dumpling in soup, starch from the dumpling thickens the soup.

Spätzle with Sauerbraten and some red cabbage and add a liter or two of some good German beer, followed up with Donkey Dong herb, now that's a feast for the Gods :)

You all must not have kids. Honestly mine would prefer chicken nuggets over fancy crap anyday.
spaetzle isn't fancy. It's peasant food. Easier to make than a trip to Burger King and much cheaper. It's been a kid-favorite for generations.

If you only feed kids crap that's all they will know. So, I'm not saying you are wrong about your own little ones just saying mine like chicken nuggets and they like spaetzle. Soft freshly made warm dumplings tossed with warm brown butter? what's not to like about that? I also cook a close approximation to chicken nuggets called turkey schnitzel. The little ones like that too. Fuck salty, flung chicken scrap fake food, feed them what they like but make it real.

these are not 6 year old kids...and your kids prefer what you introduce in their life. These are grown ass young men.

Sure glad the Orange Bastard ground her privileged white ass.
wait a second, are we supposed to believe that you are trying to fight high carbon footprints and white privilege now?

because if so you are going to have to explain your openly white supremacist views and denial of manmade climate change

Nancy spews out a massive carbon footprint costing taxpayers millions because she refuses to sit next to "common folks".

Sure glad the Orange Bastard ground her privileged white ass.

so you do not want a contingent of congress people to speak to the troops in Afghanistan, and be briefed by experts on site? you don't want the people who make decisions about that kind of thing to be well informed? there was no stop in egypt. the stop in brussels was to refuel and allow the pilot to rest....so they were going to Afghanistan...well known for it's country clubs and fine dining.......
just get the fucking cocksucker out of the whitehouse, fumigate the place, and let Pence finish out the term, then fade into obscurity, gracefully....the only graceful thing that has a possibility of coming from trumps administration
