Did not come out too bad
driving at 500ma we get 384watts, at 700ma we get 537 watts. Below is 4x4 at 18 inches datasets.500ma drive average is 581 ppfd and the 700ma drive average is 814 ppfd. Takeaway is the price and the even canopy coverage

Ive seen some solstrip br cree strips on your web for a very nice price:
- how many white diodes do they have, 96 in total? Or is it 48?
- could you do custom deaigns on them?

Hey @welight was wondering if it is possible to wire different strips together on the same driver? I've been looking at your optisolis strips, but was wondering if I could combine some of those strips with the samsung strips that you have as well. Is this possible or would it be better to stick with one brand per light?

Its a good question. The issues are if you have two strips with wide variations in forward voltage, you may be forced to use a series configuration(constant Current) as regulated supplies just drive the added voltages, it is more problematic with parallel when using constant voltage drivers as even in a parallel string the voltage is as per the driver so no where to hide, it will work but strips will have difference illuminance based on the core vf

SSK-1560-5050-14 are the brightest Grow Light strips available, capable of 40000 lumens over a 2ft(560mm), 14mm x 560mm, fixed spectrums

I've been building with the 3030 strips on 600w 12 Amp ball park at 48v and 12 strips. 1 inch heat sinks. Plenty of heat and cooling all around for the grow room. Been messing with spectrums so my frames are a little stripped in these pics.
I can't find how many amps/watts the 5050 can handle.
The plan is use the same build I've been using but changing the power supply and switching to the PC reds. Anyone have any luck with 5050 chips?
