This thread title is ridiculous from my point of view, but whatever.

I went to HS in the dark ages. There was a black guy 2 yrs. ahead of me who they pulled out of class one day to inform him he wasn't complying with their stupid rules at the time because he had what they called a moustache.

It was more like peach fuzz, I saw the guy every day and didn't even notice it. It was nothing.

So they toId him he had to shave before coming to school the next day. He didn't. They sent him home and he sued.

Part of the basis of the suit was that it was 'uncultured' meaning he had never shaved it and also a family tradition.

The school folded and settled, let him back in and he instantly became a hero who beat the school.

Heard through the grapevine the school board counsel said he would guaranteed win and set precedent and our dip shit superintendent didn't want anything to do with precedent and loss of control.

Rules are always in a state of flux and that governor has more influence than some $20 spare time referee.
