Calmag/pk deficient?

mephisto genetics white crack
Dutch passion auto Colorado cookies

Fox farms coco loco (recycled)
Nutrients - Mega Crop (at recommended dose, maybe a little less.)
Using RO/DI Water. (0 ec)
Ph water/nutrients to 6.0
HLG Quantum boards at about 50-65% on 24/0
Temp around 78-82 although did have a unusually warm day 3 days ago and rose to almost 90.
Humidity between 40-55%

Every couple few waterings I have been adding some calmag. Not steadily because I’m Always afraid of overdoing it.
Not very good at diagnosing issues. One of the plants almost looks like nitrogen claw?
Thoughts?

What EC are you feeding them?

To me with the size they are in coco substrate they should be receiving around 1.5-2.0EC of nutrient mix.

With you using RO water you should be adding 0.2-0.3EC of calmag every time you mix your nutrients.

RO water contains no calmag whatsoever so you need to add it back into the water as coco substrate requires a hell of a lot of Ca and Mg.

I would top dress right now with a sprinkle of Epsom salts ready for when you next water.

Around 1/2 tsp top dress.

What I believe you are seeing is a multitude of possible nutrient deficiencies caused by under feeding and not adding enough Ca and Mg back to your source water.

Coco should be kept wet and fed almost every other day.

Personally I feed for 4 weeks at the strength I’m at and then I have 1 week where I reduce my feed by around 50%.

This helps to stop the coco from retaining too much sodium.

Currently feeding at 1.6ec
Going to up it to about 2 as they are starting to flower.
I used to add calmag then I switched to MC and saw people saying calmag wasn’t needed even with RO. I’ll start adding it again.
It’s coco loco- so it isn’t a true pure coco. I do feed every other day, sometimes it should be every day as they drink a lot, and are in fabric pots.
Thanks for the reply

Is this an auotflower??????????????
Just seen that its an auto, all of them an auto

those ec numbers might be hot for an auto.

HLG Quantum boards at about 50-65% on 24/0
so your lights are on 24/7

Plants look like it could use some mag.
Pik off all the dead / yellow leaves.

They’re all autos yeah, there’s 7 but only 3 are yellowing to that extent.
and yep lights are on 24/7. I usually don’t have problems running full strength with good genetic autos. I’ll see how adding calmag works out.

switch lights to 18/6 would be my advice

The key word from your post above is usually, now you do, time to change it up and act accordingly to what the plant tells you.

I run 24/7 because mephisto genetics breeds their plants with that light schedule, and it keeps temps/humidity the same all the time. I used to run 18/6 and haven’t noticed any difference since switching. I switched long before these plants had issues.
Appreciate your advice though for sure. I’m gonna a little less on nutes and see how they’re doing in a few days

Do you go 24/7 and never get a break? Have you researched what plants do when the lights are off?

You posted this=and haven’t noticed any difference since switching
Now did you look at the pics you posted cuz they look different than a happy healthy plant I have seen in the past.

Have you grown auto flowers? Are you saying one of the top autoflower breeders in the world is telling people to grow there plants wrong? Interesting.
It wasn’t until I switched nutrients that this happened.
Why are these young auto flowers that are fed 1.6ec and under the same lighting not looking like the others? 100933BF-5BC0-4A11-AB10-10E1B4C8CFBA.jpeg

Have you grown auto flowers?
no

If they are telling you to run 24/7, then yes

Why are these young auto flowers that are fed 1.6ec and under the same lighting not looking like the others?
Because each plant is different and each has its own independent requirements.

From my experience with the megacrop you start low and move up because if you go hot right away it will fry your shit.

Because what you are mixing is a good mix for them. But too light for your big plants.
up the EC a bit upto 2.0.

All around micro and potassium deficient maybe?
