Why not just look at the datasheet?
Here's the link from the Cutter page. http://www.bridgelux.com/sites/default/files/resource_media/DS130 EB Series Datasheet Rev A_0.pdf

They can handle rated current with no heat sink. Max is double the rated current. BTW, those are not the Gen-2, but the prior version. A little less efficient, but a good price.

Cutter has good stuff, but shipping is a deal breaker for most of us.
There are several people using the gen 2s pushing way more than what bridgelux says is max. Including myself. I wouldn't push 2000mA through em. But 1200-1400mA with really good cooling is possible. But after about 925mA the efficiency drops off fast.

I have never had a problem with DHL. Shipping is always fast, have ordered from China and get stuff in like 4 days. Might be driver more than service. I live a few hours away from Cincinnati and i think that's one of there mega-hubs.

UPDATE:
Just placed an order for a little over $110 and shipping was like $23 to the States.
Well I just went to order a bunch of his eb series and some of his ssk strips and shipping was over 50 bucks. And I'm on the eastcoast. Not sure why yours was only 23 bucks. Nit like I had a bunch of weight. It was 24 eb strips and 10 of the cree j series strips. And it was like 54 bucks and change. But every time I've ordered from overseas and dhl was used I've had problems with no deliveries, damage, and completely lost packages. I actually had an order from Alibaba back in February that was delivered to a completely different town 35 miles away. I never got it. They shipped another one. And I finally got it 4 months later broke in pieces. Literally had two QBs knockoffs completely smashed. Like it was run over. Leds broken. Bent and creased board. So I havent had the greatest experience with DHL. So I make it a point to not order from anyone who ships DHL only.

Edit: and I still havent got the money back for the boards. Even with trade assurance. So I'm out 219 bucks. So I have reasons to hate DHL.

You can only go by your experiences in life so feel your anx on DHL, we use them because they get our stuff to customers world wide in quick time and of the 000's of packages we have sent I think we(they) have lost maybe 1 or two, whereas Postage service, well how much time have you got. Your hard earned is hard earned so I totally get the deal with Arrow and would say go with it.
I can offer this coupon
'WW10' for $10 off the shipping cost
We are shipping from the other side of the planet, so your right we can only do what we can do. Our model is one of bringing the best products to market we can, at the end of the day, shipping 2 ft long strips is always going to more expensive than a couple of star boards and if your us based its will be cheaper to buy from US sources, I hate to lose business on freight but you gotta do whats right for you
Best of luck on your build
Cheers
Mark

I totally understand. I greatly appreciate the discount. And I'd rather support small businesses even if you are across the pond. And you have done a ton for the led world in our community. So since u threw off the 10 bucks on shipping. I'm gonna give DHL one more chance. Soon as I get home I'll place an order with you. I still need strips for a veg light.

I know the data sheet says 350mA max is 700mA on the 1 footers. And ledgardner think they are under rated. This is his quote. And I know they will handle 1.0 amp bc I've done it. They barely got warm. With my heatsinking.

His quote below...

After crunching the numbers, it’s clear that 2 families of strips stand out above the others: the Samsung F-Series Gen.3 and the Bridgelux EB Strip Gen.2. Both of these strips pack a lot of diodes per foot and offer near-identical efficiency. While the Samsung LM561C has a higher efficacy on paper (187 lm/w), you’ll notice that in our designs, the EB strips often have a higher efficacy than the F-strips. Interestingly enough, we believe the reason for this is that Bridgelux has underrated their EB Gen.2 strip max current.

If our hunch is correct and Bridgelux is, in fact, running 2835 .2W 3V Gen.2 diodes on these strips, then the 1-footers would have a true max of 1,200mA (not 700mA, as the data sheet says) and the 2-footers and 4-footers would have a true max of 2,400mA (not 1,400mA, as the data sheet says). That being said, if the true max current of these strips is significantly higher than stated, we would actually be running the strips quite soft, and, as a result, they will run at a higher efficacy than the F-series in our designs.
Cutters EB strips are gen 1. Got burnt by not looking harder myself but still got 4K strips to use as veg lights cheap as fuck.

Got an auto email saying my order is completed but no tracking number. No response to my emails still. Customer service really isnt their strong suit at all.

I got my tracking #, and the package arrived in the Big Mango
12 hours later on a TG flight. It took 6 days for it to me, a 3.5
hour bus ride away because of a typo in the address(30 instead
03 in the address) and dhl wouldn't deliver till I payed a fee and
then they had it delivered by an other carrier even tho we have
dhl office in town. You usually pay the driver the fees/duty that
are owed when they deliver the package, like FedX, UPS, EMS
and the postoffice which will get your package to you with even
transposed numbers.
