Hi All,

First time grower. This pic is of a 17 day old A-Train. I've never sexed a plant before so I'm just going by what I read but are those the pistils I should be looking for ? Thanks

Those are cotyledons (bottom leaves) and as long as you are seeing them the plants are to young.

yeah the little pointy things coming out of the side are just nodes forming, youll have branches coming out of those spots.

look for hairs or balls- not leaves

Thanks all for the replies. There's so much conflicting information on the webs and makes it very daunting for a first timer.

Usually you won’t see those hairs till 4th or 5th week of veg.
