315w cmh or 1000w hps?

ive only ever used mars led...i got this setup yesterday for $212 total...its 1000w hps... I could have gotten a 315w cmh for same price. Its a 4x4 room did i make right choice?

A 1000w hps covers a 5x5 but some folks use them in 4x4.
A 315 is a great light but is for 3x3 and would be a bit underpowered IMO for a 4x4.

That said can your extraction set up handle a 1000w ? Will you need to upgrade extraction fans?

I currently dont hahe extraction fan ive been useing cheap led...i live in michigan so i think temps will be easy to mamage but if i do need it there is a window close i can rig for the exhaust

Its not a tent btw its a room i built in my spare room so the door is open to the room so not as bad heat build up if that makes sense

Im doing bubble buckets i have 6 in veg atm so ill just be adding water and nutes as they drink

Well if you think its all going to fit in and your happy to light the whole room up then get the light set up and you will soon find out if you can deal with the heat.
I strongly suggest an extraction fan, its not just for removing heat, its for exchanging air to keep co2 levels up which will give denser stronger plants.

I understand...im currently useing co2 bags and fan set on timer for airflow but i will have to get extraction fan for this summer

I run a 1K hps & mh in dwc and without moving the air to the outside or to another room my ambient temps easily soar into the 90's even when it's 0 degrees outside. Not good with a dwc system when you are also trying to keep water temps in control.

No i get what your saying...like i said ive only used mars led lineup so im basicly in the dark about the other types of lights...ive never thought to vent to another room good idea and i thank u for the info
