I think that's a key point. Whats best for a 2x2 may not be the same as whats best for a 200 x200, and it doesn't mean one lighting type is better or worse than another.

Replacing this with LED would be a cluster fuck, see how organized it is? See how the lights alternate, there's LEP and HPS in there, the spectrum is on point , if they had LEDs they'd have to supplement the hell out of it to even come close.
This is a local collective.
there's been a move towards LEP supplemental lighting with DE HPS, LEP is super pricey but the spectrum is crazy good.

The best light just like the best grow method is whatever works best for the person and their situation.
That fact always gets ignored and people end up arguing over their opinions. LED and HIDs both grow great weed and both have their applications.

There are really nice grows done with LED's and there are really nice grows done with HID. But it's ridiculous for people to rant and rave about how great their LED is when it cost ten times as much as my HID. For the price they paid it better grow damn good weed.
I don't need a Ferrari to go pick up a six pack of beer from the convenience store. I can drive a Ford and still end up with the same thing.
