So "we've always done it that way" is your rationale for why you think you or somebody else has a right to threaten a person who doesn't want to associate with you ?
If you own property, do I have the right to go there and behave as if I own it? No, you would say if you ever answered a question.
Then if I don't have that right, it logically follows, if you are seeking to ensure "equal rights", that nobody has the right to act as if they own others property. (Do I REALLY have to break that down for you?)
So, where does a group of people who call themselves government get the non existent right to control property which none of those individuals own? Are you saying government people can have rights ordinary people don't have ? How does that create equal rights then?
