Longest Aero Roots can go without water

This is my first run was Aero so I'm wondering what's the longest The Roots can hang without any water? I'm doing a swap and shock because of the presence of brown algae so the plants won't be missed it for that entire time. I expect it's going to take a couple hours for the entire process so I might just have to miss the roots by hand with a spray bottle.

Ya just keep an eye on them.

2-5 hours with no drastic problems,
6 and up the plant will start using there stored nutrients or energy.

Sorry my answer was meant for when they are sitting in your system with the pump off. You probably are going to clean your roots with water and hydrogen peroxide. Just make sure the roots don’t dry up completely. A couple hours will be fine.

They were dry for over just two hours but unfortunately i didnt get this update due to being in the garage. They looked pretty dry but here's to hoping the survive. I've let my clones go over night once when the power circuit popped in the cloner but that was pure luck.
