So recently two strips of LEDs burnt out on my Kind XL1000. As far as I know they are 3w and 5w diodes. Does anyone have any experience on repairing and or adding diodes on this particular model?
They do have 3 and 5 watt leds I’m planing on gutting the ones I have to stuff some quantum boards or cobs in them. Since I can’t sell them.So recently two strips of LEDs burnt out on my Kind XL1000. Hahahah, I have a Quantum Boards on the way.Step 1: throw it in the garbage.
Step 2: buy newer tech.
I would gut the kind and use angle aluminum to implement the monos it has into a frame with the boards and build a fucking sick Ass fixture with red/blue boost.Hahahah, I have a Quantum Boards on the way.
That's not a bad idea.I would gut the kind and use angle aluminum to implement the monos it has into a frame with the boards and build a fucking sick Ass fixture with red/blue boost.
I'm doing similar. I'll show you when it gets goin. That's not a bad idea.
Awesome, thats good to know.if its whole strips of diodes going out its probably one of the drivers in your light rather than a bunch of diodes at once
same happened to me with a mars and 1/5 drivers was faulty when i opened it
