Hi Guys,

Soil options like FF are not available where I live. Whatever is available has less than ideal NPK ratios and contain manure, red soil or added slow release fertilisers. Plan on using coco coir (70%), Perlite (20%), Vermiculite (10%) and the 3 bottle kit by GH.

Got the PH and EC kits, also a manual liquid based kit for PH. Light, planning on a 600 or 800W LED from AE, enough?

Space is rather constricted, a 2x1.7x6 ft cupboard. How many can I fit in such a small space? Also will a 4 inch filter + fan be enough?

Please advise.

The filter will be fine, be sure to keep negative pressure inside the cupboard to avoid smells excaping. It'll be a straight up grow, but one is probably your limit!
Megacrop by Greenleaf Nutrition as been doing a great job for me. One dry nute & ph'ing and that's it! May be easier than the three bottle program, if you could get it!

Had given thought to a top fed DWC bucket system but I don't think I would be able to maintain ideal water temperature without a chiller.

So would 70% coco, 20% perlite and 10% vermiculite be alright or should I add something else, or should I up the ratio for perlite and vermiculite?

Setting up a different cupboard...4.5x1.7x6. :) 4 inch fan and filter should still be enough.

Would two 900W LEDs with separate veg and bloom switches be enough for this space?

Planning on going with GH's Flora Coco range as calmag is not available. Should I get the regular Flora range and import a very expensive bottle of calmag?

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

900w true draw? Or blurple watts? Can you give some info about your light.

Actual draw mentioned is 200W, claims to be able to replace a 600W HPS/MH. 90 High Intensity 10W Bridgelux/Epileds LEDs, Lumen：9000.00lm, LEDs Angle: 90°. Any good?

Biobizz, Plagron aren't available here.

Don’t really care for lumens, its not for plants but if these are blurples and i think they are, 400 true watts total should suffice. Your area is not that big after all. I used 475 watts of light to cover an area of 3x3 and it worked well. Those claims are also bs imo, 200w leds cant replace a 600w hps, i mean qbs maybe.. have you looked into qbs by the way?

Not finding any journals specific to GH FloraCoco series, is it not popular or is the regular Flora series + Cal-Mag a better/safer option?
