Flushing in a reculating system with hydroton.

So i agree that when in soil and doing organic there is no point in flushing but if using chems then yes i think flushing is important. In organics there is always going to be nutrients in the soil so even if over fed theres no way for the plant to use those extras up. In hydro if you over feed then flushing can help get the excess nutes eaten.

With that said i believe that flushing should be started way before the the last week. When the hairs start changing colors i start to cut my nutrients back and buy the last week or so its strait ro water. Im sure that is not manys preferred method but what im trying to prefect on my grows along with many other things.

Because flushing is bullshit with zero science to back it up.
Lots of threads already out there.

Do you know the difference between flushing and leaching?
Fuck up, im not searching for fucking hrs I asked a question if you don’t like it don’t say shit.

I’m telling you if you don’t flush in hydro when you smoke it, it taste like shit. Ok you don’t flush I didt ask that question.

So if you got nothing about the topic to add. fuck off

LOL
You aren't very smart.

I can provide plenty of links that prove flushing is bullshit, but you don't even know the difference between flushing & leaching so why bother?

You really should have stayed in school, noob.

If your rdwc wasn’t overfed you shouldn’t need to flush. I run nutes until the the end in my hydro room. Generally I never need to get over 900 ppm and taper off and end up around 200ppm when I shut her down. It sounds like you have either overfed or aren’t drying properly.

No worries thanks for the advice.
