Cmh vs hps

I am starting a room back up I haven't grown in about 4yrs and was wondering what light is better. My room is 5x5x7 looking to do 5 or 6 plants. I was either looking at the double 315 cmh or the double ended 600 hps but I just seen they have a double ended 630 cmh im lost I dont know what to get. Any input will be appreciated thank you

Personally id go the 630 cmh but thats just me. Im running a 315 cmh in a 2x4 now and like it so far. tbh this is my first run with this light so not sure about how they flower but its looking good so far.

I have a 630 de cmh from sunplix and it’s like a tiny sun it puts out some insane light.

Keep in mind that the de cmh puts out a lot more heat than the dual 315's.

i haven’t use the double 315 but my 8x8 experiment is flooded with stupid light. It’s supposed to have a 5x5 flowering foot print but I think it’s much more.

Keep in mind that the de cmh puts out a lot more heat than the dual 315's.

Yah you need to ensure your heat management game is good. I keep 77-80 with just my exhaust fan I have even kicked on the air.

I'd go 2 315w in a 5'x5' and have them over lap a little. That setup should give you well over a pound type harvests and heat will be spread out so easier to control. Might cost a little more up front.

I have 2 630w 2/bulb cmh in 4x8 tent. Flowers came out big and dense and sticky. Also, way more colorful. Heat is a problem, but I live in the deep south so heat is always a problem.
