Flushing

20% run off is for a coco only grow generally.

Try watering about 10% of the total volume of soil and see how your plants start to react.

So if you are in a 5 gallon container, try giving about half a gallon of water. A 10 gallon container give about a gallon. Adjust from there.

You don't want to drench soil, just keep it moist really. You want it to dry out a bit because that gives oxygen to your roots. Overwatering is actually just making your plant oxygen starved.

They will recover when you hit your groove and will product well. Just try not to babysit them too much, it is hard I know, but they tend to hate that. Or at least that's the point most growers starting out always want something to do.

Imo cleaning is almost always the most productive way to actively help your garden.

My first plants I wanted to mist like four times a day because I was sure that my soil "needed" it. Looking back I made super soggy mess and slowed my growth down. I also overdid because I was certain that was going to give me growth like other people I saw on YouTube ect... I fucked up and burnt the shit out of her. Took like 4 weeks to fully recover because I locked her out.

Contradicting yourself on purpose or being a smart ass? Flushing = stop feeding.
I believe they were discussing a high volume flush (bad idea), not senecense based flushes like I recommend which is water only at a normal moisture rate the last 17-25 days before harvest.

The terms often get new growers confused.
