how safe is it to order seeds online?

I have never ordered seeds online, and I only have access to overpriced, overrated, average smoke where I live. I have several strains that came out way better than the stuff that it came from, but I would really like to get the best out of my grows. I am wanting to get gg4, gsc, washing machine, and incredible bulk. I do not, unfortunately live in an enlightened state, and I am really concerned about ordering them. Is it really safe to do so, and does anyone know of a site that is legit?

Your outcome could be different but my first order was seized by U.S. Customs. I got the order in the mail but it was wrapped with Yellow/Orange U.S. Customs tape. I contacted the seed bank and they kept sending seed's until I received them. You should check the policy on the seed banks you do business with. I'm not sure if all seed banks are like that.

Customs only removed the seeds and sent me the shirt that the seed bank tried to hide it in lol. I was super paranoid for a while but nothing happened:hump:. Good Luck and Happy Growing Brotha!

I have been buying seeds from ILGM https://shop.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/collections/feminized for several years. nirvana is also good and I have never had a shipment from these companies grabbed by customs. if they do seize your order they won't do anything to you so it is safe buying seeds online.

I'm probably over paranoid, but I live in a really small town, I am even good friends with the sheriff. I sometimes wonder how friendly he'd be, if he seen my back bedroom. I'm just tired of growing mediocre smoke when getting good genetic seeds is possible. I'm going to try this though. I have a friend who will let me ship it to his house, for a share of the spoils,

If your in the us there are plenty of reliable seed banks and no customs to deal with.

Ah right, I'm not sure which are USA based. I know NirvanaShop (Netherlands) and I think JAHseeds(Canada) offer stealth shipping. Perks of living in Canada I guess, seeds are legal.

crappy seeds at best. I got roped into them. They do have good deals, and their customer service is bang on. But their seeds are shitty. I have 22 white widow left. They dont grow past 20" no matter what i tried. Last run I grew 2, and this run of 4 I am running now looks to be the same crap. Very compact no stretching at all. However I have a COBBS now so maybe the 150 HPS was lacking, but I doubt it. Never had anything seized from ILGM.com either. Good beginner seeds to try out, not too bad on price. Good to practice with, but to expect quality is sillyness from them.

Good to know I won't be buying from them then. I got a WW growing from Jahseeds and it's probably 2ft and that's being tied down some. I'll have to post a picture, its even only under a 300w LED.

I forgot, I grow autos, that is a important part of the puzzle here. For their regular photos, I have never tried. But even for autos, theses seeds are 8 years behind what autos can do now a days. I just dont have the space for a regular photo. Although I could scrap the autos and just grow 1 photo, would probably yield more than my 4 autos lol. But I don't grow for the weight, fuck I dont even smoke weed lol. I grow and m my gf smokes it. She has anxiety and helps chill her out. So I grow it for her mainly. Not a fan of cannabis. I ALWAYS taste test when they are done, but that's about it. I am a shroom guy. I grow ounces and ounces of shrooms for myself. I just finished 1 lb run of penis envy :fire:. I am good until the new year lol.

Ah, ya I never grew autos before. How tall are they supposed to grow? Also what's the average yield?

varies. go to the auto section of this forum. You will see some monsters! All depends on the breeder brother. I only yielded 1.2 oz off two plants (shitty). They were just below 4 ounces wet, so I was excited, but my shroom growing experience kicked in and I immediately knew that weight would be cut down tremendously when they dried and sure enough, oh did it ever.
