I have never used hydrogen peroxide befor how to you use it and do you use it strait or cut with water??Live here also, watch for mold.... thinking I have about 2 weeks to go on mine. If you see even the slightest sign of mold I would spray with Hydrogen peroxide or chop. Weather forecast this week is iffy.
Yep, my 2 plants refuse to go amber. The weather is ideal with lowest of 38 and plenty of sunshine. Are any if you other Oregon outdoor guys/gals still waiting to harvest? We hit 33F last night, but there's no rain forecasted for another week.
Ah hell, I don't know what the F I'm anyways; so I guess it doesn't really matter.... Lol

Cool. Thanks! You two make me feel better about things!Yeah. I’ve got 5 big blueberry cookies that I’m not taking until the weekend of the 26th. Probably 2-3 pounders each. I’m in a greenhouse though, but will be keeping a close eye on any signs of botrius
I’m east side though 60 miles east of Portland. We’ve been getting frost for the past week.
You, don't!!! (Lol)I just harvested my two outdoor plants! Had brown rot starting on the tops of some colas and on some lower LARF!
While trimming my blueberry today had a lot of brown rot and found two bud worms too!
I would suggest harvesting ASAP as it is Rot season!

It's all good. I appreciate the input! This is my first grow, and it's been a fun learning experience. USING GOOGLE AND THE RIU SEARCH (just a tip for other newbs....)
I really need to get a loope about now. Just thought I'd see how others were doing around here. I'll get some pics up tomorrow. I was told it's a GG#4, but I kinda doubt that, after seeing some pictures here. Anyways, have a great day!....

My phone is comparable to a S .9. The zoom (before and after taking a pic), was a major failure. That's interesting that yours hasn't turned purple. When the cold hit, most all of mine did. I get what you're saying about the green pheno though. Makes sense....If you have something like a S9 phone you could snap a close up of your buds and zoom in to see any amber. Just because you hear "you need X amount of amber".... don't believe it.
Still waiting for purple paralysis to turn purple, maybe I got a green pheno.
Seems like it's getting close. I appreciate the tips! That said.. I’ve harvested plenty of times with no or very few ambers. Another thing I look for is for at least 50% of the green bud hairs turned orange or orangish brown.
You really have a good two week window that it’s safe to harvest.. obviously you want to let it ripen as much as possible.. but better to harvest early than lose the plant!!
I've had mine covered for our past rain, and each night because of our heavy dew. Luckily, we have a serious breeze here, and I've only had to deal with a slight touch of mildew. I feel lucky after listening to all of the problems other people have had. BTW- GREAT pics! Man, it's so easy to see everything. Are you doing anything special with your camera settings? Depth of view? F setting? You just won't find better weather than this for mid Oct, they can handle the cold it just slows them up a bit. I'm taking advantage of every sunny day and holding out as long as possible. Took my Grape Apes down, they were having spotty issues with botrytis. Holding out let me finish them up pretty well..
It's all really plant dependent the other pheno of the CW I grew started flowering 3 weeks before this one, but was so thick and heavy it contracted botrytis during that wet spell we had a few weeks back.
How do you preserve the frosty trichomes in late fall with the rain and damp cold weather if uncovered? That said.. I’ve harvested plenty of times with no or very few ambers. Another thing I look for is for at least 50% of the green bud hairs turned orange or orangish brown.
