Hey guys,
Im cloning from a 2 week flowering mother plant. I've used soil instead of grow medium and have dipped the clones into rooting formula prior to potting.
15 days later and im quite certain the clones have rooted. Problem is as follows:
Problem 1. Since i use a humidity dome, I've been having issues with fungus or algae (green slime) growing on the soil.
Problem 2. Since the roots are newly forming, the soil stays damp. Thats making problem 1 alot worse. It could also lead to root rot and wilting of the clone which is happening already.
Obviously the soil isnt going to dry on its own or atleast until the clones have grown solid roots.
Ive been watering every x5 days.
Any ideas how to solve this issue would be much appreciated!
