Very interested to see this. Iv only seen it on the medicinal level in million dollar setups.

Only one in TC so far, has been a while since I have cultured anything. RQS
I did pick up some multiplication hormones. May give it at try just for shits. They are not heat stable so I am going to have to filter sterilize the hormone into cooled media which I haven't done before.







I used to TC carnivorous plants. Multiplication hormones makes literally thousands.

Even flower in vitro.

As per my knowledge, tissue culture is a collection of plant cell maintaining techniques. But I am not using tissue culture and have not much idea about it. I will love to know more about it as it is very interesting.

There are simple kits you can buy but they are pricey at ~$150.

If you don't know much about sterilization technique you may struggle. Go get your supplies cheaper at phytotechlab.com. MS powder to make a Liter of media cost $2.

I want to use TC technique (Really microcloning) to try and rejuvenate some old genetics.

why use such a large piece of cannabis to culture, a small bit of any part of the plant will suffice. The downfall for hobbyist is sterile technique, and with a large plant piece like this the surface are available for contamination are exponentially increased thousands of cm compared.
the plant material needs to be cleaned also, with bleach and alcohol first I think, yours looks healthy green and alert, likely unbleached?

I emailed Carol M. Stiff, Ph.D. at www.kitchenculturekit.com. She provided a workshop handout which I have attached as well as a calculation worksheet for those interested.

She said that she has a lot of experience trying to TC cannabis and claim different strains like different conditions but she will provide some references later. I will post them here.

Ya you will not do well if you don't follow sterilization protocols. 15% bleach for 15 min 3 rinses in sterilized water. I should have taken a smaller one, but practice practice........
