Power source

I’m thinking of putting a grow kit in a barn which grows up to 12 plants and 2 lights, I was wondering what I could use to power this. Generator isn’t really a good option as it’s to loud, was thinking more like a car battery. Would this work?

I’d get power ran out there or get a big enough solar array big enough to power it.

A standard automotive battery will not work - too much draw.

A solar array large enough to power 2 lights (say, 600 w each) would break the bank in addition to the battery setup required to store the energy at night and when stormy/cloudy out.

Run an underground line out there & be done with it.

Welcome to RIU.

This barn is about a mile and half away from my home
I would consider buying a greenhouse and setting up in that. Harbor freight has a couple for cheap. Personally I would advise against growing in a barn a mile and a half from my house tho. More likely to get ripped off. You could set up a small greenhouse in your yard.
