perhaps ask her if she has the same views now. and this is about one subject, and it's not even about censorship, it's about allowing kids to see adult themed video games. the "ratings" apply only to children, not adults, and no content was ever removed from a game because of any of this....how is that censorship? that's a rating system to keep inappropriate material out of the hands of children, and i have no problem with that

i do not belong to an organized religion. i've made my own religion up over the years, and i stick to it more strictly than most muslims and fundamentalist christians stick to their faiths. the major tenet of my religion is "don't be a douchebag".....if doing something makes you feel dirty, chances are you shouldn't be doing it.....
when i was younger, i didn't have much empathy, or sympathy. other people were an inconvenience to be dealt with as quickly as possible, and then ignored. as i've gotten older, i've developed some empathy, which in turn, teaches you sympathy. i still don't have much of either, but i'm at least aware that other people do have feelings, and their lives do matter, to someone.
and they don't have to be white. everyone, everywhere, they all matter in some way.
just curious, i've said several times that i'm a hillbilly from Tn....just how many episcopalians do you think live in Tn. ?
this is Baptist country.....we have one synagogue, one mosque, one lutheran church, one catholic church, and about 150 baptist churches.....
oh, and one group of snake handling, tongue speaking pentecostals.....

When I was around 12 I rode my bike to town and that evening my buddy and I witnessed Pentecostal snake handlers. Appalachia hasn't changed much. I go back a couple times a year to the local fairs. You have the top 6% who own pretty much everything and the others either subsist or drive 75 miles to the city for a construction job.
