Splitting grow tent into two rooms?

Hello. I was wondering if any of you have ever split a tent into two rooms. I was planning on using two tents but I moved and the original tent I bought takes up pretty much the whole room. It's 6.5x6.5x6.5

Looking for some ideas. I was thinking about using ply wood or insulation then covering it in Mylar and taping around the edges to the tent to prevent any light leaks. Do you think that would work ok?

Thanks

You could use pvc pipes to create your wall structure. It would be a lot lighter and all around easier, also it's probably cheaper

Yeah defiantly something I'm going to consider. Thanks. Was sort of hoping to find some pics of someone who has done this but with all my searching I have not yet seen any. If I end up doing this I'll defiantly have to post some pics

I thought about that too but i was worried about a higher chance of light leaking out of the other tent rather than if I was to build a separate wall and try to seal it.

Going to be hard to do this I think. I would just grow the veg plants outside the tent so there's no chance of light leaks.

Could get foam insulation board and some ducting tape to seal up the edges inside. That way you could keep the original frame in there and pull it back out when you need all the space again. My tent has negative pressure so if yours does to make sure you get something thick enough to not break when it is like that

I was going to get 2 4x8's. I was going to divide the rooms. I remember that it used to
not be a big deal, the manufacturers usually offered a velcro wall as an option.
When I went shopping for one it was like no one knew what I was talking about...so, I got 4 4x4's and am actually much happier I went this route instead. One 4x8 and I'm kind of stuck with the layout. 2 4x4's side by side and I can spin one or the other for different layout, venting and access options.
