Lots of ppl use it for baby’s. However I can’t say much I don’t use fox farms at all.

I start in root riot plugs and then transplant to OF. Do not give them extra fertilizer!

I use rapid rooters with burpees 36 cell 10 self watering tray with a humidity dome and heating mat. Works every time.

I use it (I'm using it right now), I've had only two seedlings have trouble with a hotspot in 3 years; one died, one I flushed the hell out of and it's fine now, so there's a small risk. Happy Frogs probably a better way to start them?

I use it from seed. It's easy to burn your babies if you overwater. But, as long as you let the pot dry out real good between watering, you will be fine. It has enough nutrients to last 4 or 5 weeks.
