Has anyone actually ever flowered using a single viparspectra 600?

trying to figure out what i should buy for next grow, just looking for anyones experience if they have run it before.

2.5’ x 2.5’ x 6’ is the tent
only looking to flower 2 plants
i have 9 started, is this light going to be sufficient enough for me to be able to grow the 9 enough to sex them?
going to supplement with some cfls on reflectors on the sides of the tent, does the viparspectra 600 put out enough red light for me to be able to run 6500 cool cfl on the sides to supplement during flowering? or switch the cfls to 2700 on the sides instead?

Not for 9 plants it would work ok for one

Definitely enough to sex them but that's it. They are going to stretch due to lack of light. I am a can do kind of guy . . . Better to grow it than to buy it!

im not trying to grow 9 plants, only trying to take 2 to finish, you dont think thats enough lifht to bring them to a spot where i could sex them then ditch the rest?

600w viparspectra has 260w power draw from the wall. you have 6.25 square feet. thats 40watts per square foot. plenty of light to flower your plants in that tent.

i've never used a viparspectra, but i once used a mars 700, which has 260w power draw and similar efficiency/spectrum.

it works fine.
of course there are better lights out there.
but it works fine. just keep growing.

This is cool speaking of cheap leds. i bought a “600 watt led grow light” from walmart.com and it was a complete dud, pulls 100watts out of the wall. i call walmart to initiate the return process, lady on the phone refunds my 77$ to my card, and tells me to donate the led light lol. guess they knew it was junk to begin with. i got scammed get what you pay for

lol yeah it was worthless so i ended up paying nothing, i was considering selling it on ebay now to make a profit and offset the cost of the viparspecrta but think ill just keep it and maybe give it to my neighbor whos trying to grow a plant with a daylight flood light

The problem isnt if its enough light to flower. 2.5 feet isnt enough room for 9 plants 4 to 6 weeks old. I would veg 4 plants sex them, pick a winner maby do some lst to it to better fill the area and flip to flower

thats an issue ive been discussing in my grow journal, this thread is more just for future planning i.e 4-6 weeks from now, what should i expect from this light during flowering and whether i could try to supplement light for flowering if i needed, but since you brought it up what do you suggest i do, the seeds arent feminized and i never expected to finish all 9, as i believe i stated in the OP

what would you reccomend to do? kinda crappy situation on my part at this point i can only legally flower 2 anyways, i just sprouted two rounds because i was noobstressin over the first 8 i germinated originally
