Good good. Well to start with it was 2ft above the canopy..but I've been advised put it higher..so it's now 4ft above canopy at 600w. I've used a lux metre an right over the canopy there 22000-24000 lux.. Is this ok?Temps are fine. How close is your light? Stress like this can help cause hermies.
The plant will let you know. My flower light is fixed in an air cooled reflector. Right at 6' to the glass. I have to do a lot of raising and lowering. You put one plant 12" from the glass and it's fine. Another might not be able to take it.Good good. I think the roots are definitely happy lol the plants are growing much faster now an I lifted each 15 ltr pot up an there's roots coming out the bottom with like millions of white fuzzy hairs..first I thought it may be a type of mold/fungus but after googling it apparently it's a really good thingIf roots are not happy you will have moisture stress, this will get worse the closer plants get to the light.
To measure air temperature right place thermometer where it recievea no direct light, light heat is not what
were reading just strictly air temps.
Transpiration is very effective at removing leaf heat radiation but relys on a steady flow of water from roots, where some say heat stress i would say moisture stress
