Hey guys just found this site and love it. Cant stand waiting around for things to happen so got to the internet to give myself ideas (most stupid). I know I should probably do nothing and let mother nature take her course just hard to sit around and wait.
A little back ground not my first grow have successfully grown this plant before both times pulling over a pound of pretty decent bud. Started two this year and almost threw this one away put most of my effort into a male urgh!!! But boy did it look nice was going to be a bush bordering on tree lol. Got my head around topping and lst and think it worked out well. I am growing in the ground (dug 2x2x2 hole and filled with happy frog) transplanted her outside in the beginning of June and she stalled a little and didn't enjoy the nutes (fox farm trio). Left her alone for a bit and she bounced back, didn't give her anything else to eat and she did just fine probably could have grown a little more in veg with nutes but oh well. Its my wife's vegetable garden and she begrudgingly gave up some real estate. That being said the plot is worked yearly with new compost and plenty of tasty perch carcass's (I fish a lot and love eating perch and plant those babies all fall and late winter). When they started to preflower I noticed my mistake threw out the male and put all efforts into my girl. I pinned her down and let her stretch cut off a little of the undergrowth before flowering started but think I should have taken a bit more off (last two times didn't bother with this step at all but first time got a bit of bud rot and lot of larfy bud). As well this year started to use proper nutes and not mg lol and jumped into pk boosters (fox farm dry trio) I follow their feeding schedule and so far no burning or deficiencies and I am collecting rainwater to water with. I guess I just wanted to share a bit and find out what you guys thought I might do differently to ensure that I get the best finished product that can be achieved. Should I clear out some of the smaller stuff to clean things up a bit? and was thinking about defoliating but decided against it really really concerned about a wet fall and want to let her go as long as possible. By the way growing in southern Ontario. Pics to come once I figure out how to post them any and all help appreciated especially with the grow lol
