Otherwise, they look somewhat underfed, but pretty.
My past plants haven't been excessively tall so the sides were actually hitting the budds, now not so much. There’s no point in the fluoros. You’re directing the light to the wrong side of the leaves. The underside breathes, I believe, but it doesn’t photosynthesize.
Thank you. I have been giving Mega crop but I always go to the light side, 1 tsp per gal, then a couple of plain water. I may be under but just don't want to burn them. I also added some pk booster the last feeding. I have only been indoors since last spring so I'm a definite rookie.Otherwise, they look somewhat underfed, but pretty.
What are your lighting schedules , my understanding is that by incorporating deep red you can have longer light periods for flowering. Are you doing this?Been 2 weeks now since flip. I used the flash on the camera and the pics look better, not that much. Temps have been cooler here this last week. Did some extra trimming of the lower growth. Have the UVB set to three hours on time in the middle of the light cycle.
Nice grid work. I need something like that made up for myself if i'm honest with you. May have a look around metal working shops locally. Shame that they out grew your scrog height, LST them girls next time from young....I have the lights at 12-12 so in theory that will reduce the 8 week flower time by some amount, my last run at 12-12 went about 10 weeks though and it seemed to be significantly better than the previous that was 13-11 for 8 weeks.
I made the grid at our shop, there is a tray under with a drain that goes through the floor for the runoff. There are uprights that I planned on having a scrog net attached to but these got vegged way to long so I didn't have enough height to fit them under.
Here is the uvb fixture, I only have one in the room. http://www.solacure.com/facebook.html
Light or nutrients issue ?These were taken on 9-2 so 3 weeks from flip, pics aren't great. I have some yellowing spreading upward so I gave some additional n last water and will again tomorrow.
I would think nute since I had not fed for a while and they have been in that soil for a while. Why would it be the lights? The temp has hit 90f but the leaves are still in low 80s with the temp gun. I hate to say they did get a little wilty last watering, waited a little too long, but they perked back up quick.Light or nutrients issue ?
So the whiteflies are all gone. I do have some spider mites though, seems like one plant is worse, I pulled it out, it gets to acclimate to outdoors now. It was the one in the far back corner. Looks like most are on the big fan leaves, especially the lower ones, not seeing webs or anything. It's been 6 weeks 1 day now and with the far red I think they are looking nearly done.Don't be surprised if you have a devastating pest infestation now that you've brought them indoors from out.
They are coming along pretty well, will get some pics when lights come on tonight. Had some white flies but sprayed with purecrop1 and they are gone as far as I can tell. They were at 4 weeks from flip on 9-9. Got all my parts to add to the spectrum, got 24ea) cree red 660nm diodes and 4ea) cree blue 465nm / 485nm from Rapidled, going to add these in the space on either side of my center light.
You put these together yourself?partially complete.
Yes. the 14 reds are 660, the 2 blue are 465, I don't even have those in the room yet, just waiting a couple weeks till I get ready for next run. The plants went in the room on 8-12 but they were in the greenhouse so they may have started budding a little sooner, they didn't look like it. Right now they get 60w of 730nm at lights out for 15 min.You put these together yourself?
Whats with them colour diodes anyhow ?
-660nm
-465nm
-385nm
Just adding 730nm to my lights now for the lights out... can't believe they are looking almost done at 6 weeks. Lovely stuff ay.
