Is it possible to complete a grow using 600phs only

Imho 250 hps is way too much for a baby. I wouldnt recomend hps for veg at all. But if its all you got, so be it.
It is all i got ive got hps dual spectrum bulbs... can dim from 250w too 600-super boost, so in my situation what would you recomend would be the best route to go down with the light i am using and what would be optimal distance and so on.. please help!

I have one tent with a 600 HPS in an air cooled reflector. I have everything from flowering plants (chopping 2 on the full moon in a few hours) to clones rooting. At the moment before chop I have 9 smart pots. I use milk crates, bread crates and racks to place plants at the right height.

I'm waiting for extreme remodeling in my 1 room cabin before the snow flies and wet season has arrived driving my vegging plants indoors. Not ideal but everything is happy. Will be happier minus 2 in the morning .
Unfortunately i dont have an air cooled reflector just a standard euro i have 21 seedling sprouting in a 550ml plastic cup in a water run tray directly under a 250w hps bulb that sits 12-14inch away from the top of the plant, is that okay or not? Forget about nutes and so on for now just need to nail this part first. Please help anyone with decent advise would be greatly appreciated.

That 250 should work for a while. As long as it's not hot on the top of the plant you're good.

Well i was hoping to use it for about 10 days or so its already day 3.. then flick it up to 400 and raise the light. And no not too hot give it the good old hand test lol and have small 6inch fan blowing toward the light causeing slightest breeze the temp in tent is 25 atm but having problems keeping humidty above 50% so might have to invest in hunidifier? Cant imagine whatvits gona be like when theyre grown and have 3x600watters in the tent gona have real hear problems?? Dont have passive intake just mixed flow fan and some co2 dispensers! Any advice on this budd?

With 3? Air cooled reflectors or cooltubes.

Neither.. just standard euros! Thats my problem the heats gona be way to high! Thinking about ac?? Or really gona a have to get intake fan as i only have a mixed flow sucking air in and out through the duct into the fliter, mind them 3 obvsiously wont be going in untill all are at least about 4-5 weeks into veg and nearly ready for switch

Just get air cooled reflector, don't get why you cant.

I bought the set like that and have warly spent my budget to top that off ive already started germination
Ah cool, I thought maybe you had no way to remove the heat or something. Like a totally sealed room.

If its a question of using air cooled hoods and removing the heat and having your grow at optimum temps and running properly or buying an expensive ac and paying for the high cost of electricity to run that ac or ignoring the problem and having three poor crops stressed out and poorly then the answer is simple.
Buy air cooled hoods. They are not expensive. I just picked up 2 for someone elses set up. £40 a piece..
Try and get the ones that are cool tubes with a proper hood.
Or just run lots of extraction to match the wattage and heat your creating.

Yeah thats not too bad, but for 4 its £240 then any wxtras i may need duct, support more work and have little time i try my best to go over once a day for an hour or two at the best, they already sprouted too.. would it be best to change asap or better when all the lights are on cause im using only one right now and the temp in the tent is perfect 25-26 average but can imagine how hot it would get when all 3 are on 600, might have to bring in my 4th light if most of the plants turn out well, dont think even if i have fan on full sucking the hot air out it will make a hude difference ??? So might defo have to get some hoods... stuck on what would be best option

I grow White Widow exclusively.

I germinate in a wet paper towel in an open Ziploc on the window sill. Then I plant directly into a 7 gallon pot with the light 30 inches above it on 600 watts with the MH bulb in it.

It stays that way for several weeks. Normally, about week 4 or 5 the plant is tall enough to where I have to move the light up a foot or so to maintain the 2.5 foot distance. I just keep raising it as needed as the plant grows.

About week 6 I switch to the HPS bulb and change the lighting schedule from 18/6 to 12/12 and finish it off over 9 to 12 weeks. It varies grow to grow.

Typically, I grow two plants at a time. They'll finish off around 3 to 3.5 feet tall and net between 4 and 6 ounces each.
I think it is one of the most resiliant sativa strains (hybrid). Proven performer and nice and strong. And I had 8 oz off of 1 plant and the 2 sour kush came close together to the weight of that one.

There is no rush. You don't need all your lights on for some time. You can cover a much bigger area with one light for veg and then add one more light when one isn't big enough and eventually use all your lights when your ready to flip for flowering.

Here is a chart which tells you the airflow required without cooled hoods to maintain x degrees above ambient. Just to give you an idea.
