Anyone whos grown og kush know if they are just crazy hungry mid flower? They seem to take and want more than other strains ive done.

Got it figured out. A friend sprayed some stuff on them when i was on a trip and the ph was low when i returned. After a flush soil was back to 6.2 but they were super hungry, mostly for p. My nutes arent super fast acting but everything is getting back in the right dirrection. Tho there is some damage..

Im happy whatever he sprayed (he was faded) not only was the ph low but newer small growth was fucked, kinda burnt looking. Im happy most of what was damaged would have been popcorn larfy shit anyways. Except for some leaves

I had a small emergency and had to leave for a couple days and wrote what to do and not to do. So instead he hammered down a bottle of jack and did god knows what. I havent slapped someone that hard in years. Needless to say, he wont be around me, my house, or my girls for a very long time.

That really sucks for you! But for what it's worth, I've seen at least 4 different phenos of OK Kush that I've grown (all just branded OG Kush). All but one of them had very vigorous growth around week 4-6, big tall colas that look dense, but ended up a little on the fluffy side sometimes, probably my own fault. I was probably light on the nutes though and could have gotten away with more.

The other pheno was really short, and didn't grow much more after week five, short little super dense nugs, covered in crystals though. All of them pretty much tasted the same to me and similar effects, although that different one was a little more chill...

I had the exact opposite experience. I grew an oh kush seed in ffof and it had the worst nutrient burn I've ever seen. I ended up scrapping the plant it was so bad.

These are an older pheno. Maybe from 5-7 years ago. Met an awesome older couple camping who hooked me up with a dozen or so seeds. There are soo many fake "og" seeds and its been bred into all sorts of wierd crosses. Everything ive found says its a finicky strain, definetely not an easy strain to grow. Ill play with it more indoors. Even after so many different issues the buds look great. If i can get her dialed in inside ill try her outdoor again to see if i can get a 8x8 or 10x10 bush. Shouldnt be hard as this ones 6x6

Yeah the one I grew was about 7 or so years ago. I haven't bothered trying since. If I was going to I'd probably use something like light warrior and just add my own nutrients at quarter strength
