My night time temps are hitting the 50 to 55 degree range now and the plants are just starting to flower. Not sure what this doing to them, but it can't be good!
Mine is in the 40s and 50s all season long. The colder it gets tho...The more colors it will show. No need to stressMy night time temps are hitting the 50 to 55 degree range now and the plants are just starting to flower. Not sure what this doing to them, but it can't be good!
This is an outside growDaytime 74f
Night time 64 f.
Buy a space heater and you can put it on a temp controller . If your in the states there are lots of great options on amazon and in your growstores. Or online hydro stores.

This is an outside growheat mats to keep the roots warm and they will fine, better than trying to warm the room up and exhaust the hot air.
No problem. The most important thing you can do is to keep them well watered and mulched. It insulates the roots this way. Thanks!

Mine go through a couple of frosts sometimes down to 28 degrees and as long as I water the heck out of them the night before they are always fine
This shot was taken the morning of the second frost that year. View attachment 4184916
And you dont get mold? How do you manage?40s my girls are fine. im in canada and my girls will be seeing a lot colder nights will start covering them around november for the last week or two if they go that long they are just starting to flower and 2 are new strains. i have walked outside shaken snow off my girls and went about my business for the day. the more indica the more cold resistant they are i find my sativas can take light frosts before needing covering my heavy indicas can take snow they just go dark purple to black in color the colder it gets the darker they get
i have never gotten mold knock on wood, if its going to rain hard or hail i might cover them but other then that i only worry about when is best to start covering them up from extreme cold. i would probably get mold if i did like others and did light dep because they would be budding during the rain cold hot time of the year. if the cold damages my tomatoes the next night the girls are covered if its colder or as coldAnd you dont get mold? How do you manage?
