Thanks a lot!Got some time left, around 2 weeks minimum, could go 3.
Try again in 7 days.
I have a magnifier to check them out but not enough experience to see a difference in the trichomes plus the buds still have pistils erected lolJust go by trich development/maturity
The plant near harvest was guessing thats where the yellowing came from since fan leaves turning yellow and falling offThey don't look ready to me but overfeeding can stunt/stall their growth.
How do I know thwy ready until all white hairs turn brown? But people saying not to let it get there It will make it less potentThey don't look ready to me but overfeeding can stunt/stall their growth.
Got it thanks for your reply brother!Trich maturity is a better thing to go by. Takes a little experience to be good at noticing differences, but hey you made it this far. Try google image search to see different levels of maturity color then try to compare to yours.
You want a good majority of the hairs to turn. That plant has way too many white pistils to even think about harvesting now. You do want to go by the trichs once the plant looks ripe. The pistils give you an idea of when to start checking. Here's a plant at seven weeks flower. I count flower from the first day they go to 12/12. All pistils have turned and the calyxes are swelling. I ended up letting it go another two weeks despite it looking ready to some. Through the scope the pistils were 100% clear at this stage. Two weeks later they were ready with 80-85% cloudy, 5-10% amber and the rest clear That's how I like to harvest mine. Other people like to harvest sooner or later. But you do need a scope to really know what stage of ripeness your plant is at unless you've been doing it long enough to just know when they're ready. How do I know thwy ready until all white hairs turn brown? Some people saying harvest the top buds and Im just stuck in the middle lol
