Another tell that the worldwide economy (of which US is the largest contributor) has tumbled is the price of copper has fallen. Copper is used in practically everything. Buyers for practically all companies worldwide have drastically cut back on orders for copper which means that production of practically everything is about to drop. Same thing happened in 2008. Don't believe me, read and decide for yourself.

Sometimes cars like to ride right next to a semi in the truck drivers "blind spot". My suggestion would be to not ride next to a semi. Because you actually don't know if you're clearly visible to that truck driver.

More times than not, it's not how closely the Semi is following - it's the idiot in the 3rd lane that suddenly realizes he's about to miss his exit and cuts across in front of a semi and hammers the brakes to make his exit and the semi simply can't stop in time.

I wish I had a nickle for every time I've seen that happen. I'd have at least 1000 dollars.

When I'm visible in his mirror + forced to ride in next lane because of high traffic?
I wasn't the only one next to him, just the only one that couldn't slow down fast enough...:wall:
The road was packed, he was an idiot to think it was safe to merge.

You can't avoid being next to someone on the highway when it's full of cars, in a fantasyland maybe.

I deal with this situation almost every day, it's a fair bit stressful. I have to constantly be alert of my surroundings on the road, I'm always checking my mirrors every 8-10 seconds watching what's going on around my truck
