Gelat OG Anyone grown this?

I am growing Gelato 33 right now. From Seed Junkie Genetics. Growing 2 femmed plants in a 2x2.5 tent with a 250 watt LED.
Have not grown it before, but have been told it is worth the effort.
Just a month into it, so???

:bigjoint: mines just surfaced the soil so months away yet, I'm tenting with cfl's and also heard this is a worth while grow
 
My grow is hydro. Ebb and flow(flood and drain).
I have another small tent with some Island sweet skunk in it and the Gelato is growing MUCH faster. The ISS is pure sativa though.
 
Gelato is super trendy right now.

IMO if you want the real deal you'd be better off buying a clone. Or you could pop many seeds to find the real Gelato pheno and then keep a mother plant.

Thanks for the heads up ! I'm really looking forward to growing this strain, got a few grows under the belt now so this strain I'm excited about for the end product :hump:

I got given 3 of these (gelat og), my friend got them free from seedsman, was thinking of doing them next as well
 
I have 3 of them left growing, they are a few weeks old, they are very slow growing and small compared to eveything else i have grown up until this point ( small sample size)
 
Last grow had two gelat.og from seedsman. They did well,good structure, pretty fast finish. Average taste and potency. Don’t over feed!
 
I have a 5 pack unopened that I don’t even want anymore as i had 2 freebies of it from them. Both were in my last grow but I had to destroy them both hermie. Were nice little plants but don’t take chances with hermies anymore had to toss them, and I’ve never bothered doing another one yet for that reason. Keep eyes peeled for bananas in the lower buds around weeks 2/3 of flower.

Anyone know what the gelato is? This cross from seedsman doesn't make much sense. There's 25, 33, 41, 43, 45, 49 but they just list it as gelato. I'm guessing from the description its not the real gelato used but one they made by crossing GSC and Sunset Sherb?

If they even used the sunset at all. I'd stay away from anything seedsman sells under their brand. It's just gonna be bulk seeds from spain. So what ever gelato cross other euro banks have he'll most likely have.

Paradise seeds has a version they made, however they named it sunset paradise and you can only get it in their new 3 bundle purchase. Maybe from them.
