Pulled the trigger on some boards and a driver. Going to build it half at a time to offset the cost. Those Samsungs look nice, but $$$$ Whoa! for what I wanted to cover. In the end I should have something similar to your setup.
 
@calitrees916 , Have you taken any measurements on the light at the canopy such as lux/lumens? I'm curious what kind of numbers you're getting. The samsung strip lights( 20-influx L09 / 3000k per light, and they are 48" x 42" each ) I'm getting anywhere from 75-80 lux at 6-8" below the light. I just raised the light to 12" and I'm now getting about 60k lux. The plants were showing some light burn on the leafs(minor), and I wanted to encourage the plants to stretch more to the light and thru the trellis.

I have a par meter that I use and in flower I typically keep my rigs between 700-800ppf at canopy level. I can give a more detailed description of my readings later as I do t have the info with me today, I'm at work lol.

I like to keep my rigs between 24" to 36" inches, however I will be experimenting at 20" on my next run.

Nice, post some pics of your build during construction and once completed. What components did you end up purchasing, i.e.- what board and what driver? I'm excited to see how it turns out!! Lastly if you should have any questions I'd be glad to answer them if I can in perspective to your build. Cheers
 
Day 64 of flower

This plant is a clone of Cherry Pie that I picked up from a local shop. It was placed in the room for quality testing purposes of the genetic only. It sits way out on the perimeter at about 5.5' on center from my rig and is still producing nice quality nug meat. With that said the spread of these boards are great in my opinion.

Looking great!! your ladies are stackin the frost daily mate... those fan leaves on the gp5 are looking crazy, what kinda temp does ur rooom have during the day? And what day are you thinking of giving them the chop?

The sunset sherb normally goes a full 9 weeks, 63day, however I started my flush late so I'm taking her 10 weeks. I really want the purple to set in on the sherb is why I decided to take her 10 weeks. The GP5 is fairly new too me so I'm still in the process of learning her, like how long to take her or when the best time to chop would be etc. In the beginning of my grow during the light cycle I would run around 80-82F with humidity at 70-75%. But once I got to week 6 I progressively dropped my temp and humidity levels. I'm now down to 70-73f. I always correspond my temps and humidity levels with the VPD chart. I hope this answers your question.

Sure does mate... thanks for the informative answer... I even have something new to search never heard of a VPD chart before... I’d say I’m in the zone by ur standard about 43% humidity and between 18 to 24c it’s winter here, so it’s keep a nice stable tent most of the day I’m around 22c which is your sweet spot

I got 2 qb288 v2's and have a meanwell 185 h that led gardeners driver calculator recommended. Out for delivery! I plan to buy the same in a month or so and spread out the cost of parts.

It'll replace the 4x2 light I built with the bridgelux strips, which I like, and would have expanded if they were still available. It looks ghetto, but works haha. Sorry for the crappy pics, just a cell and a jewelers loop for the close ups.

I would recommend researching VPD for sure. It has helped me with faster vigorous growth. If you do decide to run your environment in perspective to the VPD chart just make sure you have plenty of air flow in the room.

Nothing has made a bigger impact on the health of my plants than achieving proper VPD. It's a night and day difference. Now if only I can keep it through the winter...
