What are some good bloom nutrients?

I want brand names i cant be bothered to make it idc if its organic or not what do you use and whats its npk level.
Seven posts mentioned brand names before you posted this and you can't be bothered to thank anyone, but you do find the time to follow up with attitude after a very informative post because it's apparently too much effort to try and understand it? Lazy growers usually get just what they deserve.

Can you send me a link

Search it, it has a very loyal following and many great threads and such

Most of us use the 5-12-26 and calcium nitrate and some use epsom.

321 is the ratio many use 3 parts jacks hydro, 2 parts calnite, 1 part epsom salt. I dont use that much epsom myself... some run same ratio all way from baby to chop day, others myself included cut down on the calnite mid flower as thats where most of the N comes from... no marketing w naked ladies, all dry so no purchasing someone elses tap water, its macro and micro and no nike swoosh symbol equivalent to pay the big bucks for...and works every bit as good as 16 mystery bottles with the smallest ones being the most expensive...

Im not saying other lines are bad... im just saying Jacks can keep right up with em for pennies on the dollar

Yea its a neet concept because lets face it, the difference between veg and flower base nutes is just npk ratio... so w calnit and the hydro formula u can adjust your ratios if you so choose to raise or lower the N ratio.... so you can effectively make almost and endleess possible ratios of N, then PK to your needs with the same two cheap as dirt nutes... its agricultural products basically, you can source your calnit at a local feedmill farm store type place if you chose..

Part of the high cost of nutes is literally part of the marketing itself.... Its expensive, so it must be good... i paid more for my companies latest mystery bottle of nutes they forgot to include in tbeir base than my buddy did for his line because mines specialer than his....

we are all susceptible to it, they have done studies with food or wine and had it be the same product one displayed as a generic version the other as an expensive brand, samplers chose overwhelmimgly the expensive one taste better when in reality they were the same food or wine...

Penn and Teller covered that kind of bias on their show "Bullshit". They had people compare organic foods to conventionally grown foods, but they switched the labels. People overwhelmingly chose "organic", which just goes to show a) we can't tell the difference on taste and appearance alone, and b) we are extremely biased in many of our day to day choices. As far as I know, plants possess no such bias.

Here's what I use. No silica gets added, no Cal-Mag, just Jacks. In bloom, I use Epson Salts for crystal stackers until the 4th week of flower, then I stop. Reason is using ES later does form more calyx (sepals of a flower, typically forming a whorl that encloses the petals and forms a protective layer around a flower in bud). These calyx from new crystals, but after the 4th week in bloom, those new calyx don't have enough time to mature, and leaves non-potent crystals, that do nothing but "water-down" the strength of mature ones when making bubble hash, has been my latest experience. Jacks Aqua-Gold finisher is available on ebay.

How does aqua gold compare to the standard hydro 5-12-26? So you don’t use calnite in veg? Just a one part of aqua gold?

Aqua-Gold is 7-15-30. I haven't used any finisher other than Jacks AquaGold, so I can't say how it compares to others. What I didn't say is this: I never pH my tap water. If the tap water doesn't poison you, then Jacks-don't-care. And yes, I added silica for the first couple of weeks while in 1-gal. plastics, but not again. I don't use Cal-Mag in any feeding during any nute application. I use no additives at all. My plants stay green, and only turn yellow in final flower, when the nitrogen is being sucked-out of the leaves. I learned this from farmer, whose not only "thrift" minded, but he's a Scott, so that makes him and Scotty-me, bone-dry thrifty. Farmer only relies on scientific literature in plants, and studies that end in .edu
We use Kelloggs Raised-Bed soil, from H.Depot. Farmer will shop between HD and Lowes to see who'll give him the 3 cu.ft for 10¢ less.
It's difficult to argue a plant-point and win with farmer. Although the "manifolding" process and defoliation remain mysteries to him, since he's geared for dispensary supply. This grow, he considers another one of my "defoliation experiments".

I agree on ph! I’ve quit ph testing w jacks n not a single issue. I use it in coco with a PPK set up so kinda a drip and recycle system...

So you use it through veg too, or just in flower? No calnit just jacks and ur couple other add ones like silicon?

I use Jacks 20-20-20 Veg. • Jacks 10-30-20 Bloom and Jacks AquaGold 7-15-30 finisher, and I do not use Silicon or Cal-Mag. Just tap water of any ol' ph is good enough for Petersen's, Jacks - imo and experience. No budswel, no humbolt snow, no nothing or elixirs...except during beginning of bloom through the first 4-weeks, I use Epsom Salts (1 TBL) per gal. H2o, and I stop using EP after week four, because it's redundant beyond week four and ineffective for the purpose.

Gotcha, i meant silica that u had mentioned... i was going to compare micronutes to see if those vary much amongst the different jacks as i think using the hydro base and going heavy on calnit and backing down in mid flower and eventually zero would probably land me to a similiar ratio as what you are doing...

This was told to me by the American Indian on a reservation, where the research was done, and the seeds were offered to me.
