Time for a new strain. I am looking at Bodhi and Ocean grown genetics for my next grow. Anyone have any suggestions or favorites? Thank you.

Ocean Grown do some nice OG/Cookies work while Bodhi's stuff is a little less hipster/trendy stuff. He still has OG and Cookies crosses, but tons of other great stuff as well. What do you want put of a strain?

I was looking at Challenger deep (Ocean) and Cosmic serpent (bodhi).
This year I'm running back to back Bodhi seed tables. Then I plan to take a deeper look at his genetics. I just finished Jabba's Stash. Snow Temple is finishing week 4 flower, smells and looks wonderful. Dragon Fruit is in it's third week. The best smoke I've had recently was his Lucky Charms. I'd vote Bodhi.

Never been disapointed by Bodhi gear.. I know you didnt ask but, Strayfox makes bodhi crosses that have heard a lot of good things about and second generation has some nice looking crosses and promos if order from dcse or James Bean

I am running GPS Ace High and Canna Pure Raspberry Kush at the moment. Didn't end up with the Lemon pheno on the Ace and the PRK structure is lacking. That James Bean promo looks pretty decent . . . Would get me going in three different Bodhi directions

nearly everything from OG taste like Alien rift so... also there drama with them who knows what is true but ninja said he got fired from them over some shady shit as well as not getting paid, honestly bodhi has some decent work, great prices but id be selective of his work lots of average stuff imo sure bodhi is cheap but if your spending months with a plant just for it to be bland or weak its the worst... personally id look at karma, dynasty, compound, norstar, archive, secret society, exotics. swamp boys, southfork, cult classics, dominion, thunderfudge, dungeons vault, the source, capulator, green team, honest genetics, thug pug
I would go with them before a lot of bodhi's work, this list is fire so I wouldnt forget
unless your a breeder and looking for something specific, cuz I got too much bodhi and now I regret it, the results speak themselves. saying that not everything way boring, I wish I had my silver mountain back, it was pretty much a 10/10 plant, crazy good yielder/dense/stacks and top structure, crazy loud, and still potent at the same time I seen way too much avrg from him imho so.....

I would name them, but they were OG crosses (so expected)

My best bud comes from a bodhi strain, more complex flavor + higher yield than the clone mother.

I run Exotic/Karma/Bodhi cuts continuously, but I have run some single packs of Archive/Norstar/Dynasty seeds in the past without finding any worthy keepers. Friend got a couple keeper Dosidos, but from multiple packs + he lucky.
The fire is where you find it. My suggestion is to buy more than one pack of whatever strain you choose.

Where did you read the ninja thing at? I thought it was all just here say. As long as he still got the NF he’ll be fine. This whole thing has a Greenhouse Seeds/ Mr.Nice vibe. I’ll definitley pick up another pack off ninja he starts doing his own thing. Exotic Genetix/ Top Dawg/ Jaws/ Sin City
There’s reviews on every seedbank/ breeder on here and if not throw out a forum. Growers like new stuff too.

kindnug its just bodhi crosses a bit too much for all of them to be amazing and something might not turn out good, like I said I think u have to be more selective which can be hard cuz sometimes crosses just turn out bad even though both parents are elite, ive just seen a lot of bland from bodhi mostly his snow lotus line but similar with some appy crosses to, also I fully agree you cannot expect anything special until you run more than just one pack, at least 30-40 seeds should give you a better chance to find something good/test a new breeder

yea heard topdawg is good just haven't experienced em yet same with jaws to infact, and I forgot sincity they are top notch forsure, sins og was some of my favourite flower ever, the smell is just delicious, stupid loud and very strong flavour and high to, ninja streams on twitch and he explains what happened but he doesn't get too personal in one of his recent broadcasts, its titled 'why im not with hoceangrown' but its like 3hours long and not a clip
My neighborhood has run nearly every American breeder, except thunderfudge/brisco county/docs dank/bigworm/riu breeders.
You will find many avg plants, that's what makes the keeper "elite".
I'm not just growing a dozen thinking I'm going to get a true "elite" from any breeder...

I've gotten whole packs with no keepers from a couple of the $150-200 packs of breeder's mentioned
Have you grown 30-40 of one Bodhi cross?
I know of the mediocre plants your talking about having grown all the male crosses.
Had a few really nice females to pick from each strain + recognize what way each lean from growing most of the original clones used in many of his crosses.
The only strains I didn't find good plants in were testers which weren't released + I suspect it was because I only grew 11 of them.
Breeder's need to start making 30 packs, Sin City had the right idea with 15packs.
