A Newbies First Grow

Have you measured your plants yet? If you haven't, just as a fun exercise, do so and write it down, then take another measurement when the flowering stretch is done. You might just be amazed how much it will grow in a very short period of time.

My first plant back in 2013 started flowering at around 54" and topped out over 7'6", and that was over a 2-3 week period iirc. Here's a pic.

I was just thinking about recording measurements in my notes earlier today since I am anticipating some serious bulking up here in the next 2 weeks. I'll let you know next log.

Thank's for the kind words. It took me until my 40s to have the patience and understanding to do this. Wish I would have started much sooner!
Ah yeah but it's happening now so keep doing what ya doing, I did a lot of research and talking with people for years before I was able to try it,

I am learning daily logging is really important at this stage. The changes in my two ladies can be recorded by the hour, the way these two are transitioning to flower. Thank God for my plant biology class in college! I find it is really helping me understand the changes that are taking place as I see them happen.

My main female is exploding right now with new growth daily. Even after only two feeds at very low concentrations (Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom), these girls are responding very positively. The big girl is certainly ahead of my little one, but the little one ain't no joke!!

Big Girl is 59 inches today (just shy of 5 ft)
Little Sis is 40 inches today (just shy of 3.5 feet)
There is a 3 week seed-to-soil difference between the two.

Is it me or do I not see any signs of male or female yet?

As far as the nutes go if you want to truly utilize the native soil, going 100% organic is something I hope in the future you consider.

I am going to go 100% organic next season. I just don't have the knowledge base for it this season.

I have seen signs of sex now for a week.

Coming from you, I will trust what you say. I swear I am seeing white hairs all over the place as they stretch out. I have also seen coutless calyx too.

I already pulled a male out. The only one that looked like this.

I'd swear I saw pistils in a picture you posted last week.

Don't doubt your own observations, you can see more up close and personal than we can see in a picture. You'll know 100% sure soon enough anyway.

Yeah they are just at that early stage yet. They will start popping all over soon enough
