Spider mite: Cinnamon oil

Hi all.

So im on my second grow, my first grow i had thrip. Which i sorted by using
crop guard laminaid th.

Now however i have discovered spider mites.

so the question: Is cinnamon oil effective? I have read around that it works.

if so i will buy this as it will be far cheaper than anything in a hydro shop.

if not, what pesticide would people suggest to buy? i know laminaid have one for spider mites.

i hear people using different organic things including cinnamon, but i think it only keeps them at bay. they can be born pregnant n impregnate themselves, talk about prolific...i use azamax....cut all lower leaves n trim the whole plant, then spray every 3 days for 2-3 weeks.....it's over kill, but after you've dealt with em a few times, u wont f-ck around with home remedies.

Had spider mites on my first grow. I used a Neem based product. Did the trick after a week of treatment.

I can't speak for cinnamon, but I typically don't buy into home remedies, which I consider that to be. The corporations, love or hate them, would have capitalized on that by now. They did with Neem, which definitely works.

Cinnamon, Rosemary.. any of these herbal things only work to a certain extent. pyrthum works but obviously, you dont want to do that in flower.
Does anybody have experience using high co2 in a flower room to rid yourself of spider mites?

What about concoction of cinnamon powder in canola oil in water with a little dish soap to make it blend. Sprayed all up under the leaves

I read on here that nicotine works....soak some a pack of ciggs in water overnight and use the juice to spray on your plants. Seems like it might work....

If you're not in flowering...then Pyrthroids/Pyrethrin or however you spell it, is the way to go....but make sure you squash it on the first few rounds. because the little bastards will develop an immunity to it after a few applications...and you don't want a batch of 'supermites' on your hands.
