Thanks for reply i ordered the roleadro 300w led light which is meant to be decent for starters and 1 plant grows.
Any ideas on any 5 inch fan and carbon filter kits that would suit my setup?

Check out eBay for kits that’s the cheapest you’ll find. Then use either AddressPal or Parce Motel to get it delivered. As said before go bigger and use a controller to dial it down and you’ll have it run quiet
 
Thanks for replies. Will have a look at fan and filter kits over next week or so.

Go into a grow shop cash in hand. Instant gratification.
Liking the red scorpion fan and filter.
The filters are great value if you want a smaller lighter filter.

Thanks for suggestion have u any idea on the noise from this fan? Noise is a big problem for me i was looking at the s&p silent series.
Also would turning the fan on for 15 minutes per hour via a timer be enough for ventilitation on a small one plant grow?
I took delivery of tent light ph tester soil and nutrients today will set up over weekend just need ventilation sorted now.

I’d go for an oversized RVK and use a speed controller to turn it down. Or look at the Gekko box fans. I have one of those, you can barley hear it but they’re expensive. Either way, get a fan to suit a bigger room so you don’t have to run it full speed.

Absolute beginner here. Goal is enough for me and a sick loved one.

Bought cheapy gear off ebay for first grow in a small tent. Trying to take it all in reading everything, jesus theres a lot!

Two northern light autos in an 80 by 80 by 160 under a 300w viparspectra in soil is the plan. Seeds should arrive monday.

Have a 100cfm kenley fan and carbon filter. Have a good insulated location with steady temps, plenty airflow and a choice of vents so hopeful i can get the environment right.

Biggest concern i have other than the illegality is fire tbh. Thoughts of leaving stuff permaplugged in and on scares tye sh1te outta me hence the choice of a low watt/heat application for lighting. In saying that i read the light I've chosen can be daisy chained to another and one is meant to be weak enough so considering buying another to hang alongside. What do you reckon lads?

Welcome buddy

First thing id do is get rid of that viparspectra and get a hps kit as youll yield fuck all in flower with that led.

Other then that just get stuck in and youll learn as you go along. You might not get it all perfect for your first grow but its all just a learning curve.

Oh and if your afraid of a fire just hook up some smoke alarms and DIY sprinkler systems its easy to do just fill up some coke bottles with fire dousing powder and youll be sound
 
Cheers for the advice lads it appreciated (and needed!);)

Especially now as the seeds arrived and i popped two into a luke warm glass of water just there. Will chuck them into wet kitchen roll and into a zip bag in the morn.
Question is do they need light when in the wet kitchen roll? I understand they need middling heat and humidity but just not sure on when they get light.

Also when i plant the sprouts and they're below the surface do i need light and will my tent and light be ok to begin with at that stage? What I'm getting at is if my Viparspectra 300 is too powerful (even pulled up high in my 160cm high tent?) Or the wrong wavelength?
Specs say at 36 inches the par is 170. Its 300 at 24 inches.

I have em in moist kitchen paper in the dark now. Hopefully i get a small root soon. Exciting, well to me anyhow lol.
I was thinking...if i was to put the seedlings in the corner of my tent with the light all the way up top they wouldn't get burnt then?
