What pro mix soil do I get 4 indoor?

Help please. MI medical marijuana patient and grower. I'm able to do 12 plants by law so that's what I'm doing. Not sure what kind to order as I'm seeing lots of different bags on Amazon that look different. Anyone got a link or pic of the right stuff I need? I'm growing side by side comparison. 4 in hydro and 8 in soil. All in 5 gallon buckets. How much soil do I need for 8 5 gallon buckets? I will be using general hydroponics nutrients Flora trio with 0 Ppm reverse osmosis filtered water. I use GH calimagic since I'm using ro water. T5 for early veg, 1000 watt mh for mid and late veg. When I flip to flower I will use a 1000 watt hps with a brand new bulb this run. Doing a side by side to see if I like soil. All I know is dwc at the moment but want to learn soil as I love the taste of soil grown indoor bud also. I will veg them between a foot or two tall before I flip due to height restrictions in my room. I will top all 2 times for 4 colas per plant then I will work on the scrog, I will grow them to the net first then I flip them when they all hit the net and start flowering at that point. I believe I'm going to need another light so I plan to buy a led to save on electric bill and see what the hype is about a Viparspectra led light for half the room. Not sure what promix soil I should order though? I'm also getting a light intensity meter this run so I know how close to keep my light away from the plants exactly. I know rule of thumb for 1000 watt is 16 inches away but mine is air cooled with glass and seems to lose brightness with the glass on. I might lose the glass next run also.

BX General Purpose the black bag is what I use and it's always done very well. Nice green healthy plants. I keep my 600w 18 inches above the plants any closer would be too warm, but you'll have to test it out with the cool tube.

Read up on topping and on supercropping. Once you get it down a SCROG is not necessary. Nice but not necessary.

Fully grown cannabis flowering after any stretch. No SCROG but hey if ya can't do it without one yet put her up. I avoid pain and hassles myself. Once under a SCROG and woven in that's where you are.

I like the hp indoor it drains better no need to mix in perlite like the bx,but both r great bx holds more water gotta watch it with big pot -small plant

I started buying PM in 2011. $35 @ bale at Home Depot. Same bale now is $65. I run DWC and my "soil" is my homemade. I am cooking some organic soil but it won't be ready until next year. Would already be on that but PM was easier to hide evidence of back when. Put the empty bags in my asshole neighbor's garbage.

Vegged for 6 weeks. Took a ton of cuttings. Topping and supercropping from the start. One is a White Widow, one a Bowzer 24 and the other a plant that was well into flowering when it was almost destroyed by a tree I chopped hitting it. I took the broken off parts and rooted them. The one on the right is the revegged stump.

The biggest yielding plant i ever grew i hit with a lawn mower in the spring :blsmoke:
