That looks like a small pot.

I'd transplant into a 3 or 5 gallon pot. You should be able to go every 2-3 days between waterings in a bigger pot.

Every other day most of the time. I water when it’s dry down to my knuckle.
who gives a fuck whats going on knuckle deep. What you need to do is make sure the entire root zone is dry. Fill a pot with dry soil. let it sit a day so its pretty good and dried out. when your pot feels almost this light, then you water. It should be a few days. I water my .66 gallon pots every 5 days or so. I am pretty positive you are overwatering, nothing that young should need every other day.

I turned my leds off. I have them some grow nutes yesterday and it seems to have stopped spreading and everything perked up. But I still would like the knowledge of what it is so I can avoid on the next one

It’s growing very rapidly. Everyday new sets of leaves are coming out. Everything is uniformly green except for a few rust spots here and there. You can see them much more clearly with the leds off.

Yesterday was the first time I added nutrient because I started them in Fox Farm Ocean Forest. They are like 16 days old. I used xnutrient grow 1/3 recommended dose. Xtreme root tonic 1/3 dose and xtreme juice 1/3 dose and florolicious plus 1/3 dose. The rust spots were before the nutrients were added. The girls were perky as shit this morning so it seems it took the nutes well. My ph was 6.0 Maybe mag deficiency. I have well water and refuse to use it so I use bottled water

I really doubt that is a deficiency I seen rust spots like that on plants that have been watered too often. It's not so much the amount you water it's the frequency

Good morning Ethan,
Your plants look nice. Very compact tight nodes which will be appreciated later.

About the spots. There are a variety of leaf fungal infections that can occur. Watch the spots to see if it worsens...and also how it evolves. Keep RH in control and plenty of ventilation to move leaves a bit.
Carry on,
JD

Thank you for the reply. I’m almost positive it’s not overwatering. I really pay attention to how moist the soil in the pot still is. I thought it could have been a little wind burn. I had a 24 inch box fan in there. I got a smaller one and the problem seems to have stopped for right now.

Ethan,
I re-read the thread to see if I missed anything. Many people grow almost the full run on FFOF alone without extra nutrients. I can guaranty that you will burn your plant if you don't curtail your urge to feed it. You already fed it when you put it in that rich soil.

what's the RH in your room? looks like it might be low. low rh makes plants transpire too much, and they start to cook their leaves with nutes from the inside out. if your temps are around 75F your rh in veg ought to be between 65 and 70%.
let the plants dry out till the pot feels very light. then wait another day. you don't want them to actually start to wilt, but you want it to be close.
ffof is pretty hot, but not that hot, after about a month or so you'll need to feed, but start out very light and work your way up, try 1/4 strength first

It stays around 55 % most of the time. The plants are 3 weeks from sprout. So I’ll let it dry out real good than give it plain water

water till you get about 10% run off each time you water, to avoid salts building up in your soil, and let it dry out good in between each time. you might want to check the ph of your water, it's usually not a big problem in soil, but if your water is radically high or low you may need to adjust it anyway.

I check ph every time I water and I also check the runoff. It’s always around 6.
