Its the accronym i give all the ppfd and heat info written here that simply defies thermodynamics, a lot of members have made a whole subset of grow science with leds and i really doubt they are right.

You might realise that they are touted as cool and very usable if your house hits over 90f, you might realise that they excluded ir and then backtracked their science to now include ir heavily.

I say science, more of a best guess till some one makes another guess, the real science is elsewhere but obtainable if you do a bit of homework.

I also refute that a hps can heat a small quick flowing volume of air by much and here is where they make the biggest claims on air temps, shame ive written threads that detail air temp differently to supposed led science.

Basically i disagree with it all but they are great lights just at a rip off price, obviously no better than hps for yeild.

Peeps can dispute this but i make simple easy to check claims that most hps growers also make in defiance of the led rubbish cited here.

Hope that clears up the word science in relation to leds, really i should use the word mumbojumbo or snakeoil or bs or broscience....

No dude, this and other threads were both in over leds get high veiws, more than other members threads atm, everyone is reading them thinking 'Damn that kingrow1 has a good point' and 'Im bored of chunky stool and other members that just argue about leds being cold and no heat when clearly they are wrong'.

Suck it up pal, you got used so others could read the alternative views and science to what you and your noobie friends have written here recently, why i dont loose my temper like you as i am by far a more constructive and contributing member...

My point was you didn't really say anything in the post I quoted. that "lot of members" is usually new members I'm not sure what false ppfd or heat info your talking about. If you don't think led can outyield hps your just stupid photons grow pot led can output more of them per watt if done right. As far as ripoff price there are plenty of lights I wouldn't consider a ripoff. The OP light in this thread is clearly a ripoff but there are tons of good options for led.

Since you both use hps whats the differance... if the whole point is that hps is easy enough to use? For where they are in veg i dont see any issues with kingrows plants

Im still looking for a led thats better than a 1kw hps. Cant seem to find one. Youll see some zoomed in photos of led buds that look pretty good at first, then you find out that cola you were looking at is the size of the hps buds halfway down your stem, an not any better looking. Then you hear the led users say its not about quantity its about quality! When the buds dont look any better to me.. an theres less of em..

Maybe watt for watt led can do pretty well vs a hps, but 1000 watts of led costs a shit ton. Dollar for dollar it seems to me your still best off getting HID lighting and the fans to cool it. You can get a full 1kw setup including ducts and fans an electric paid for a year for what it would cost to buy 1kw of led.

Your getting it now, re read all the alternative science i and others are laying down here and you will see just how much noobs got duped by leds and are now walking round like some kind of demi pro cause they believe led is vastly superior and works well in air temps of 90f.

Really just bs and the grower in the house next door nails hps grows all day long.

You can find their inaccuracies if you scroll through enough grows and posts easily, they just get butt hurt because someone disagrees and lays down pure un arguable science in their faces.

They would love me to leave so they can convince you that they are the pros here and leds run cool even with 1000watts in a small tent in plus 90f air temps.

Like they dont even understand how to get an accurate air temp reading and always struggle with ir and stuff, im not such a noob and seven years here its easy to just destroy them if they want to argue as others read and fail to agree with their rantings.

I had the same argument with hermies, trifoliate, ploidy, genetics and i wasnt wrong there either to many other members annoyance, i also have killed of a few so called pros because they guessed the wrong sex on plants and i wasnt wrong there again.

No one believes leds anymore, just a fact which has yet to hit led growers but trust me that everyone else is starting to laugh at them :-)

Had you been here at the switch and before im sure you would notice that a lot of us lost likes and content but didnt cry because our stats now look lower than what they are.

I actually like ya bro, a good contributer generally. Just dont see the point of trollin kingrow simply for the sake of trolling. I dont agree with everything hes saying, but some of it is def true.

Anyways, everyone knows i dont grow any kind of plant, never have. I just do my best to pretend. Dont even know what the smells like cuz ive never been that close to it. Closest im ever likely to get to wacky tabbacy is hanging out here with you guy.
