Wet-Vac Broke... Options?

I'm in coco and drain to waste onto trays without drainage. I was using a mini wet vac up until now but the damn thing broke today. Drain tables and such are out of the question because I have an 8x8 and 2 2x4 tents and I don't have that kinda cash to change them all up. Buy another wet vac or do I have other options? I found "sponges" called suction blocks. I was thinking it might be like a 2 in 1 idea with the sponge because I can absorb the run off and wipe it out at the same time.

I was talking to the wife before she fell asleep and she mentioned our carpet cleaner. Has a hose attachment so this might be my option for now. If it's not a huge hassle i'll just use it till I get sick of it and shell the $50 for a new Wet-Vac.

This is just me but I keep a dedicated wet vac in my room.
I have an irrational fear of bugs n fungi hitchhiking in on a vac that gets used elsewhere so my vote is.

If you use a 'Bucket Head' for water take out the paper filter. It will get moldy. Get a nylon stocking and put it on...not on you! Put it on the Bucket head where the paper filter was. This will stop the water from spraying from the 'air out' hole. With out a filter of some sort it will spray out water, definitely.
If you don't know anyone who wears nylons, or if you don't have the legs for them yourself, get a cheap pair and try them out. After a little use just wash it with bleach when it gets funky.
This applies to using them as a filter or wearing them.

I have one of those siphon and i thought about that but it's shitty unless the tube is submerged a bit. I'm in the middle of no where in the foothills of the Rockies so Amazon is about my only option that's cheap and quick unless I wanna drive over and hour to a HD or Lowes.
I completely disassembled the carpet cleaner and cleaned all the pieces and filters. Looks brand new. Tried it today when I watered and it worked great. The hose is only 1 inch so it's really easy to get around the tent and in the trays.

I think i'm going with this one. Doesn't have wheels but it's small and portable. Has the small hose that I like. Shop-Vac name and not to bad on the wallet.

I have the Buckethead and I've never noticed it spray water, but I've never had it more than half full. I like it because I can go wet to dry back to wet just by switching buckets and adding/ removing the filter. Also, emptying a 5 gal bucket is easier than trying to dump my shop vac, 20gal I think?

I'll suck up some 10% bleach water after i use it wet, to disinfect it. Buckets just get rinsed and sprayed with 10% bleach.
